- I was finally able to have a drive in the 2024 Mazda CX-90, here in Turbo S Premium Plus trim, an holy f*$k is it an impressive feat. Riding on Mazda’s all-new large vehicle architecture, this platform is built with performance and luxury in mind with its dynamic chassis controls, longitudinal-RWD layout, and classy proportions. Outside here we have the new Artisan Red shade while Inside is a 12.3in touchscreen / scroll wheel, a new 12.3in digital cluster, a HUD, driver personalization system and high quality materials with extended leathers, alcantara, real metals, woods and more!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec sheet: Under this model is a a mild-hybrid 3.3L Turbocharged Inline-6 making a healthy 340HP and 369 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel. This is paired to an 8 speed multi clutch gearbox sending power to a Rear-Biased AWD system. 🏁
Highs:
-The material and build quality 100% feels the around $60k price tag of this top trim.
-The powertrain, especially for being ground up new, it VERY good. The engine is smooth, has a wonderful noise, and feel refined.
-The handling, for a 7-8 passenger SUV, is uncanny in how well the body is controlled, how good the steering response is, and how dynamic it feels on the road.

-The 8 speed multi clutch gearbox could use some more time in the tuning department.
-The trim lineup is absurd and violently confusing.

I bought this exact model (same trim level, same color, same interior)...and I enjoyed your review, especially the driving you did. I agree that Mazda nailed the driving experience for the person that loves driving a little quicker than most, but still needs the occasional 6 seats (7 or 8 in lower trim models). The fact that I can drive like you showed, and still get 24mpg is incredible. Love the 3.3L Turbo Inline 6 !
