I dont know i have mixed feelings about this game on one hand hell yea a sword vr game lets go but on the other hand its litterally only a arena fighting game and i know from experience if your gonna make a game that will last long term you have to add more than just a arena battle like im sure the game is good but there are better choices then this to play
This is a really great way to prevent people from just "Wii Remote-style" waggling at each other. This mechanic requires the player to commit to an attack!
Yeah that was their whole goal, to prevent wiggles attacks and create a more full cinematic experience.

The shattering mechanic actually makes a lot of sense for VR and I'm surprised nobody else has tried something like that. Makes me think more as a developer. If you can't physically stop the player's movements, then design gameplay around that.
Exactly. The dev for this really is thinking outside of the box.
Would be cool if you can have an 'live' adience for clanfights, tournaments or important battles who stand just outside the combat ring. They could distract or encourage the fighters with gestures and voice. Would make me feel more like a pit fighter if i can roar to an adience after a good hit.
Yeah that would be awesome. They have mentioned having a Spectator mode. It would be awesome if that would be the case.

Dude I'm excited for this game. It not only has a bit of a For Honor feel. But for Star Wars fan , it brings a bit of that light saber duel. I am impressed with the Devs on this. Not only did they take the time , to make you think about each move you make. But they also make so each warrior has to be played a certain way. making so you can't just swing willy nilly. I will agree with you sir, it will be come the next melee fighter on vr. I'm pre ordering this on my birthday Wednesday thank you for the help in picking games !

The sharing of 'replays' from within the game is an excellent feature, and should help it sell well. Thought it's a bit of a shame that Oculus makes it so hard/restricted to do it natively from the Quest, and that devs need to even consider something like this.

2 days till I get my quest and I'm very excited to keep tabs on this game
It would be cool if they added a different weapon class which would have 2 kusarigama or “Chain Blades.” You would be able to pop the sythe like blades off of the handle and swing them around by the chains. Just a thought. But I am so exited for this game and I can’t wait for it to come out.

I'm wondering if the controllers can even read if it goes behind you like that. The cameras seem to pan as a cone in front of the face so I am not as faithful for when it has to read controllers at my sides or someway behind me.

So this is actually for a different game, but i assume it happens to other games so im just going to ask about it since its bothering me. On the quest store i was trying to buy "the climb", but whenever i click on it it just says "unavailable", and I haven't found any helpful videos about it. Is there something wrong with my store or account? It just makes me sad since it was a game i was really interested in

My thing that I hope is that it’s not super close like I get it it’s swords but the gameplay made it look really close like if anyone has played creed before the worst part is where you are like practically in the other guy I just hope they put some distance between each other

Yup cross play too. When I played the dev he was on a Rift S and I was on the Quest.
How does the whole clan system work can you do like 3v3s
No it's just 1 v 1. Clans would need to be set up outside of the game as the game itself doesn't have a clan system but it lends itself well to creating clans outside of the game and playing in tournaments.

They will give access by connecting your Oculus email to the bets itself. It's super simple and I'm sure they will walk you through it.

It's ok. I personally didn't care for alot of the mechanics as they felt really clunky but I have heard it's gotten better since release. I still need to jump into it and try it though.
