It's interesting you mentioned Marie Kondo in the context of ensoulment. The shinto religion is the only animistic religion still common in a large, industrial culture and still permeates the japanese psyche. One reason japan has such a culture of quality, of taking care of objects, of restoring rather than buying new, is the influence of animism and treating everything as worthy of respect as an ensouled entity.
What you speak of today, simply put, recalls Dr Jung’s fundamental understanding passed on to “Bill” regarding alcoholism, was recovery wasn’t possible until a significant spiritual awakening is experienced! I would say at 74, with 45 yrs of devoted recovery, now based on “willingness to grow along spiritual lines” that humanity’s present creation is suffering from a similar loss of soul connection! Thank you for bringing Dr Jung’s visions to LIGHT!👣

My teacher in the Kabbalah taught me before mankind had a Torah we had a Torah of creatures , that in some way animals have never left gan eden , unlike us , they were not expelled they follow us out , we practice a tikkun of creatures , where there is the intention as we relate to our animals of raising the holy spark within them , that man can elevate and ensoul an animal , and an animal can lead a person back to an Eden if like place , many people who have suffered trauma experience great bond with our fury friends .
This makes a lot of sense. I actually cared less about fury creatures after my teen years and when I kept getting my heart broken repeatedly and separated from my last ex, she had a total of 4 basset hounds. She always thought that one in particular "Angelo" was mine and I should keep him, so I took him with me. Now that I think about it, him and and thought of the rest of the basset bunch have restored my heart when I think about our memories together. Angelo cares so much about me that when he sees me cutting the grass and sees me struggling in the heat, I see him looking at my eyes as if he wished he could do something to help and sometimes I feel that I sense what he feels too much and vice versa. So much to explain, which I need to explain myself more of what I'm trying to say because it's always the cases when I think about the rest of the basset bunch that we miss so much. We miss you Poppa Flashy, Momma Lola and Eva, Angele's sister.

After he had withdrawn all his projections from the outer world, Jung must have felt that emptiness was not everything, so he gave some back.😀 As a matter of fact, this was a point of disappointment I had with the individuation process, which I am glad you clarified in this episode. It's not a matter of empty withdrawal, but enlivining yourself together with the external world. As within, so without. The concept of pantheism appeals a lot to me, and I am also open to the idea that everything is One in principle. However, it seems reasonable to me to discern between the content of Anima Mundi in e.g. a clean and clear ocean and a garbage patch. Possibly this is another tension of opposites that we have to hold.

I have been listening to you three on your podcast for quite some time. So weird to see the faces attached to the voice, but a good weird. Your insights, fairytale storytelling, archetypal imagery, dreams and of course Dr. Jung's wonderful work infused into your program, are perfectly targeted for the current times. Thank you.
I was meditating in an online group on Saturday, and had set an intention to get back on what best could be described as 'Universal flow'. That specific meditation's effects were unfurling for the next 2 days as full body meditations of that nature tend to... And today, on Wednesday when a small group of us came together to pray to our Muse, meditate for few minutes and sit to write, my stream of consciousness piece was on an inanimate object- a pretty tissue paper; and the 'playing' just happened- surprisingly, as I ended up writing- 'it wondered if it knew how gracefully it lay on the desk...'. I started thinking about quantum mech and how scientists tend to look at the non-tangible poetic experience by not looking at it or annoyance... and this birthed a story concept on tolerating an opposite of a typical scientific view and that of an experiential, healer's point of view. Doesnt stop here: post that I looked up David Bohm's implicate order book. (In my morning session as a body psychotherapist right before the group writing, there was a discussion involving death anxiety, and we looking at it differently as we stayed in touch with our body trying to deeply listen to it, to help her not have her migraine set in- wherein I ended up suggesting her to check out Dr Michael Newton's work, One Mind by Dossey and Bohm... it brought her some ease, and this topic may have lingered in the unconscious). After the writing that followed, I came to your this specific episode. Anima Mundi ❤ . Synchronicity ❤. There are more little things im not writing here that gave an experience of connectedness in strange beautiful ways. An unusual day :) . I'm 47 years old male and love females, too much. But I think having a small niece in the center of my heart, meaning now when I see females I see a part of my niece in them and since then, I can only respect females. Every time I meet a new female there's a part of me that asks me "why do I even want to speak to girls for?" Then another part of me answers "Why not?" And that's when I realize I'm subconsciously paying attention to these 2 entities in me. So is the conscious and unconscious to individual entities within me?
I think that Jung often reflects Buddhism and interbeing.. existence is an interplay. The problem is not with the world but with our reductionist view of the world of separation....
In this case, you might interpret synchronistic events from a symbolic stance and consider your spontaneous daydreams as night dreams. Both of these can help lift up unconscious material for consideration.
The brother in law is the wife's animus projection. Hubby is going to refurbish her bus and she is going to bail without paying him. She's taking this party bus on the road without hubby. I hope I'm wrong, but it makes more sense than anyhting.
I am certainly more long-winded. We each rely on different functions to find our points. I rely heavily on intuition, thus my long circumambulations. Lisa has a luminous clear mind and nails topics quickly with such clarity. Deb leads with feeling and so often tends the heart of the matter. When we podcast, we check in with each other during the recording to see how we're feeling, making sure we each feel heard. Because we have no limits on episode length, any one of us can introduce and explore as much or as little as we choose. So if it seems the time is divided unevenly from one show to the next, it's because each of us has more or less to bring forward that day. As an aside, I felt disappointed that you inferred this is in any way related to gender equality. In our show, that couldn't be further from the truth. ~ Joseph
