As a German is the only thing i'm thinking: that is so much money!
Just like you said the food on the christmas market is well priced😁
I'm literally so hungry now, great video
Thank you Pia! Yes, it would be so much money if I were eating all that in Canada but in Germany, it's very well priced :) So happy you enjoyed the video!
@@seeusoontravel pia was trying to say its expensive XD
Omg Christmas is Germany is the beat! It truly feels like Christmas with all the Christmas Markets and snow! 🙌🏼❤️😊
Agreed!! Wish I could be there again this year 😁
Currywurst... Isnt with BBQ Sauce, its ketchup with curry in it as well :)
I was hoping someone wasn't going to catch my mistake ;)
Hehe gotcha! You got a new follower from Sweden thanks to the video anyway! Got any good food recommendations for Montreal? Going there next month!
:D Oh poutine for sure!!! I had some pretty good poutine at La Banquise. And Schwartz's for their famous Montreal smoked meat. If you're into street art, take a walk along Rue Saint-Laurent to see the huge murals. They're incredible.
Thanks! These were on my "Food tour list" Great to have them verified! :D
No problem! Have a fantastic visit!
Die Oma hat den Reibekuchen so angestarrt
typisch deutsche alte oma die ihre nase in andere leuts angelegenheiten steckt. hast ja gesehen wie die fast reingekrochen wär' ne.

Thumbs up for Germany 🙂
I have been to Hamburg Germany and their confectionery shops are amazing . The Germans like their food.
Wow!!!! We just visited the German weinachsmarket!!! And we love gluwein and currywurst and bratwurst!!! Love it!!! Enjoy !!! Greetings from your new friend here in France
They're so great aren't they?! I love the German Christmas Markets too 😊 Thanks so much for watching!
The grandma at 1:35 made me laugh so hard :D
Haha, I actually re-shot it afterwards without her but thought it was much funnier to leave that moment in :D
Glad you left her in! :D She's just such a stereotypical nosy grandma :'D
I can almost guarantee she wanted to ask where she got that. I did that several times while in those markets. I wish I had seen potato pancakes. Never saw them in either Germany or Austria.
she is hungry :D
lol same here watched it all the way from jaMAIKCA
Yum! I am of German heritage and proud. ☺ Everything looks so good. I love German food. A lot.
I am not(sadly)of German heritage, but I am a unabashed Germanophile and quite proud to be one!!!
I wish I will b thr
Great video. I lived in Germany for 5 years when I was young, and loved going to the markets with my Mom and all the different foods. Your brought back many great memories...and made me REALLY hungry...lol. Reminds me how much I want to get back over there.
Thanks so much for the comment! It was a magical experience and I hope to visit again soon. Sounds like it's time for a return trip for you too :D
Nothing is more indulging then the German Xmas market.....I love the smell.....I could smell it miles away till Indian goa ....I miss it really ❤️❤️❤️
Couldn't agree more! I say pack the stretchy pants and enjoy them to the fullest :)
All looks so yum!!
We went to xmas markets and I looove the street food. They really know how turn plain food into a delicious tasty snack. I may be easy to please BUT uk markets haven't got a clue how to experiment.
I can’t decide if my favourite part of Christmas markets is the food, the lights and decorations, the mulled wine or just the excitement of being there.
Probably a combination of it all 😁
@@seeusoontravel yes lol. I go to the one in Toronto since it is the only main one around here. I would like to see the original one in Europe. I think Montreal's would look European too.
You don't have to choose. 😍 It's all there.
Absolutely fell in love with the Ghulwein last year while in Switzerland and now make it at home.
@daAnder71 Thank you I didn't know it mean 'glow' wine...it certainly makes me glow on these cold nights!!
Definitely going to Germany after watching this😗 thanks
Yes! You won't be disappointed 😊
1:24 Heaven On Earth ! Reibekuchen - That is the nicest potatoe pancake I have seen!! with applesauce is a must ! : ) mmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!
It was SOOOO good :D

Brings back childhood memories of the Munich Christmas market
Oh amazing. I haven't been to the Munich Christmas Market but hope to some day!
Nice to see somenone having a good time at the christmas market in Aachen where I live. I wait all year long for the Backfisch there. Thank you for posting this nice video about the best German christmas market!
Thank YOU for watching!! I had such a great time eating my way through the Christmas Markets and particularly loved Aachen. I'll need to come back to explore more of your great city! :D
I love this -- it moves fast, the host is likeable, and I learned some things. Well done!
I went to the local market in Wurzburg during my time in the army. I loved the gluehwein and the gyros!
Them potato pancakes with apple sauce...aahhhhhh Munich Oktoberfest.....warra trip..🍺 and yes I know this is a Christmas market

Flammkuchen. The ultimate Christmas market food. Wurst on a roll (Brot) . 😋 Meat lovers heaven. We traveled along the Rhine. Köln, Speyer, Koblenz, Breisach all great spots. Oh, the nougat! Soft, sweet, chewy. Never tasted anything like it.
Cheers.
Sauerbraten is not a beef stew. Its sour marinaded beef, which is then cooked till completely tender and usually served with red cabbage and potato dumplings. The thing seen on the video looked more like a gulasch to me...
Thanks for your description! It sounds very similar to what we'd call stew in North America.
btw there are differend types of Sauerbraten. The original "rheinischer Sauerbraten" is based on horse meat. In other parts of Germany it can be pork. ;)
Thank you agree with you ...
Never had Pork O_o Only going with beef.....
it was a stew. a saurbraten stew.
I love German food.I could live in Germany! My brother in- law is German, and they bring curry ketchup over, at least 4 bottles ! You can't buy it in Lidls or Aldi's, perhaps it's their own little secret.
I love the food too! I often stock up on local condiments I can't get back home too. It sounds like you get a regular supply 😀
you can just make it too by putting curry powder on regular ketchup !
Gebrannte Mandels, ich krach weg😂😂😂
Oder gluhweins 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Germknodel :-D
Schneballen
All of the food looks amazing 👌
I've been to Cologne and Aachen, loved them both. Going back to Aachen in a couple weeks for the Christmas Market.

Wow...Amazing ...!!!! Nice to watch...Greetings from Dubai...Stay connected 💕💕💕
Thanks so much!
I lived in Bavaria for two years and my favorite part was walking out my front door and smelling the food during the Kris Kringle marts.
Angie Lamm Kris Kringle Mart? Do you mean Christkindl-Markt? Haha, lovely variation 😄😄
@@Wolfmaedchen Go ahead and laugh. I'm used to it. There were German ladies that were so kind trying to teach me German. They would laugh and laugh in American so I would understand. 😉😂
Yummmy
You speak well and are interesting to watch
Nice market
Such a fun and informative video and I love your high energy! Subbed :)
Thank you so much for the kind words!! And thank you for subbing :D
you cook mulled wine on low heat to keep the alcohol in the liquid lol
Can't wait for Christmas
Me too!
@@seeusoontravel Christmas in Germany must be magical!!!:')
The background music will definitely make you lose your appetite.
😂
LOOKS GOOD................
What am I doing living in the US, Germany has warm friendly people, beautiful countryside, food that's beyond delicious and incredibly beautiful women that're heavenly! I think it's time to move & live abroad... 👍😁
I can say exactly the same way around and honestly I would prefer to live in US than Germany.
@Darren Munsell I'm in South Florida, unfortunately we need to run our air conditioning 11 months out of the year, ughh! We were hitting above 90 degree temps in late February this year.... After a few decades of this sweltering heat I could go for some snow & some cute German girls to romp in the snow with, it'd be a refreshing change of pace... lol
I am moving back.
@@marc639 Why are you moving back, are you homesick or is there something that really bothers you about living there?
As I'm lying in bed in a hotel in Versailles eating macarons I'm not too jealous. But I thought the blond woman was going to steal your potato pancake! Love it.
Haha, I didn't know she was there until after I finished talking. She was hilarious, would totally have offered her one of my potato pancakes! :D
Very yummy and delicious food I really enjoyed the video 😋😋 god bless you
Thanks so much for watching!
Wow..😊😍😍
Love the food and everything else in Germany!

@@seeusoontravel I love ANYTHING German!!!:)

In Leicester we need this market
So, Christmas time could come now - I am hungry and thirsty!
Haha agreed!
I will go the first days after next Sunday - then, the Christmas market season officially starts!
Leckeeeeer!!!!! Bei uns is morgen Weihnachtsmarkt und da werd ich wieder fett🤤😂
What is the name of that song?
Nice video
We say Kartoffelpuffer (potato puffs) instead of Reibekuchen.
And Crepes is Eierkuchen here. :-) Enjoy!
Cheers thanks!
its depends where somebody lives. In my area we say Kartoffelkuchen and pancakes are pfannkuchen. but Pfannkuchen arent the same like crepes
Pfannkuchen bei uns
LeicaM11 Kartoffelpuffer is something different than Reibeplätzchen in Ostwestfalen.
If you ever come to Lübeck you should try our marzipan from Niederegger, it's the bust but also a bit pricy.
OOoo thanks Heidi! I'll keep that in mind!
"Bust" ? was ist denn damit gemeint ??
Hello I'm from Thailand very tasty food
Yummy yummy n
Yummy 😋 l like
That whole Marzipan is a day's worth of calories, AT LEAST. Also listening to you speak I knew you had to be Canadian... I was surprisingly unsurprised when I checkeed your About page and confirmed that.
