- We build a KTM 525cc cross kart in just 4 DAYS with the help of our friends to set a new track record around the CarsandCameras Grand Prix! We're using the VF-1 plans from KJRaycing, a 2010 Polaris Outlaw 525 donor vehicle, a ton of tubing, and a HUGE order from Amazon. can I just say: Changing you upload shedule to once a week made your videos a thousand times better. Having a project in one big video instead of 5 small ones just makes them so awesome to watch, and the quality is better than ever. @coyoteden3773 because the carts they have made in the past are the same quality as the one made in this vid but we used to get vids with them twice a week now we get 1 it's just all around worse
I enjoy the longer videos and knowing that a 1 video a week is less stressful for you all makes them all the better

I grew up watching OG cars and cameras scince i was 10(now 17), my first video being amphibios gokart(the first attempt). I miss the garage, my favortie episodes are when theyre back on Johns parents property, just makes the vibe right.

Thanks for this build. I have a frame one that is so close to this build . I've had it maybe, 10 years it had a 90s 350 Honda hung on the back. It was so over built. Each end of the suspension had 4 adjusters for alignment. A chain driven differential. Open. Was thinking about having you making me and offer on at least 12 projects I'll never get to
2 Alport RTS 340s 2 Honda SXs and oddesy not sure of the model. A frame of a ranger 8 it would make a great retriever.
I just said on last week's video when you guys was gonna build something faster than the yarddart and you didn't disappoint.

Watching this video has reminded me of why I like Cars and Cameras, John, Ike, and Charles so much. They are genuinely friendly folk, with fun and wholesome content. You guys never fail to bring a smile when I watch your videos. This collaboration is excellent and certainly does not disappoint. I love the collabs you guys have done, and would like to see more.

Guys this has to be one of my favourite shows this year the build was class the guys cool and the runs at the end were brilliant thanks for the upload.
it felt like one of those old school builder shows like monster garage but without ANY tv production bs like a fake problem or drama just a fun build with the guys.

That thing is badass! My only suggestion would be put some foam tape (canopy tape) on the edges of those panels. Sounds like it would rattle your fillings out. Can't wait to see it at Busco!

Pretty incredible how something can be built so quickly, when you have the manpower of course, and as for a soviet crosskart, absolutely, one caveat though, it needs to be Lada powered, for that eastern bloc touch... :P
This is one sweet collab! It's kewl to see master craftsmen at work. That engine looks TINY for it's displacement! Just make sure you don't misplace any of your "ugga-dugga" (torque) during assembly. I wonder if anybody ever slapped a snail (turbo) on one of those motors...hmm...

First 4stroke to race supercross. same year doug henry won on the yz 400 98. ktm raced the whole year on the 525 motor that they acquired by buying husaberg to compete in supercross under the 1 year no production bike clause. we saw them show up at local tracks late 99. Granddaddy of the modern 450 and husaberg design.

4 days seems like no problem, until you consider 9 good mechanics is a mint😂 Awsome build.
If you 3 run out of ideas for builds, a KX500 or CR 500 engine powered shifter cart would be fun to watch. I'd like to see 2 carts. One with the Honda engine and the other with the Kawasucki engine. Bring 'em to a road race track and find out which one is faster.

This is going to be an awesome build because that KJ Racing VF-1 had a stock Predator engine so if you guys add a spicy engine it can potentially be the fastest cart you guys own, Period.... I want to build one but all electric, like 4 wheel drive w/ 2 72v 12kw/20kw motors powering each axle and possibly 2 80v Greenworks batteries and dual Far driver controllers. 😮❤❤❤
