Taking any child out of foster care and giving them a permanent family has to be one of the most noble things a human can do
Yes
Ideally, foster care reunites children with their families and any issues in the home get resolved. But for children who have no family to return to/ rights signed away- yes, these children want a family just like anyone else.

Once my mom died and my dad kinda noped out a friend of theirs took me and my older brother in while being a single parent to three. If we had gone to foster care, my brother (who was around 7 when our mom died. I was 6 months) and I would have probably been separated. Now he's 22 and works his favorite job as a mechanic. I'm 14 (almost 15!!!) And have the best life. I couldn't imagine not being with my brother. If we had gotten separated when we were younger, either I wouldn't even know I had a brother or I would remember and it would rip me apart not knowing where he was. I'm so grateful to have had a second chance ❤️
“Being a mother is an attitude, not a biological relation.” - Robert A. Heinlein
@بُب بُب I agree 100%
"and only women can be mothers" - science (or "anti-trans rhetoric")
@بُب بُب in an ideal world the biological parents would still be their parents..it takes a lot to take a child away by the state. So in cases of adoption, unless the parent died, it's unfortunately not good parents even though they are the biological so it's better the child is adopted by a good home than in the system for years with no family nor a stable home
"But nothing can replace a biological mother". I respectfully disagree. Too many family law courts take this same approach and return biological children to their grossly unfit parents. There is nothing magical about reproduction. The far, far majority of humans are biologically capable of having children. Having a child does not guarantee bonding or imbue special powers of newly assumed responsible decision making. There are plenty of biological parents who not only can but should be replaced and that replacement can be far superior to their parental lineage or rights.
100% WRONG
Giving birth to a child doesnt automatically mean you're a mother. This just proved that point.
JohnBasbasTV erm it does tho
@@lewisroxar3948 yes, when you give birth to a child you are automatically a mother and bla bla, but that wasnt his point, the point is that a mother is not the only who gives birth, because love is love and there shouldnt be considered emotional differences in children when they are adopted.
Anyone can make a child, but it takes someone special to properly love and raise him/her. And someone incredible to adopt one.
My adopted father raised me with every ounce of love he could ever muster and he’s the reason I am the man I am today. I can’t begin to thank him and my mother enough for the life that they provided for me and I’m proud to be a part of my family.
@@SpudEater i always believed that everything has a reason. Yes, youre biological parents left you but someone replace them and give you all the love you ever had.
Why do people even use the insult “you’re adopted” like there’s nothing wrong with that.
Who uses that insult?
@@lilmissmonsterrr many people actually. Mostly as a joke but yeah.
@@mr.struggle7648 what type of people? I've never heard it before.
The premise is that your parents hated you so much they wanted to get rid of you. That's why it's an insult. I have a friend who was adopted, but I still use the insult(not on him) as a way to tease my friends and family members. Nothing wrong with teasing.

I’m adopted as well and it was the best thing ever to happen to me because my family gave me a chance in life and gave me an opportunity to have a good life because I was forced out of my birth moms house because she was so young and her boyfriend killed my older brother so the government took me and another out and I was blessed with the parents I have today. If it wasn’t for them I would’ve probably been in a foster home or probably wouldn’t have the best life like I do right now. My parents love me and are always there for me and that’s I could ever ask for. (Edit) forgot time mention that my birth mom was 13 and her boyfriend was probably around that age and killed him so yeah 🥺
What a nasty man I hope he's in prison
Im sorry. Im glad you now have parents that love you and care for you

As a Black man and a father I hope these kids show us in their success that it is not about the race of the individual but the culture that they grow up in.
Could you expand on that? No malice behind this question btw.
Never noticed their race. Only noticed their love for each other.
@@charleshunt4354 he is obviously wishing for these boys to break black stereotypes. And prove that the hypothesis many people assume that one race is superior than other is incorrect. Instead he only wishes these boys become living proof for the hypothesis that success/failure/manners everything depends on upbringing and not race.. ofcourse while saying so, the commenter also assumes the adopting parents will provide good upbringing (why would he wish for the opposite) . He looks for this specific combination bcoz black parents upbringing awesome kids is a reality hardly acknowledged or capable of breaking race stereotypes

Always remember it must have been also so hard to give you up for adoption , I. So glad you were adopted into a loving home , my sister had was forced to give her child up for adoption and cried like a baby everynight for her child because she did not want to give her child up
I was adopted when I was really young, young enough I dont remember. My adopted fathers name was john, he may not of been my sperm donor but he is my real father. He was always there for me no matter what trouble I caused and he has always loved me. He passed away a couple weeks ago and because of the covid stuff I didnt get to say goodbye. I love and miss him so much words cant Express. My point is a real parent isn't always the biological and cherish them while they are here cause you never know when your last moment will be with them. I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH DAD.
I'm so sorry for your loss 😢 He sounded like he was an amazing father.

Believe me...he is still loving you and always around you
Bless the Dad, all he could do was hug the smaller boy tightly in his arms. Very emotional.
I just want to say that I hope that none of you are falling for this. I lived with this family after they moved to San Diego as their foster daughter. The mom is a covert narcissist that mentally and emotionally abused not just me but her husband, Stuart. We went to family therapy, that she made me pay for btw and the therapist actually told me that she is a narcissist. To be more specific she is a covert narcissist. I literally almost lost my life at least twice behind the abuse that I suffered living in their home and being apart of their family. She doesn’t love the boys and in fact she barely spent any time with them because she would be too busy out with her friends or doing community projects because that is how she boosts her ego. There is a term for it, it’s called a communal narcissist. In the over two years I’ve known them I can say with complete honesty that she never ONCE sat down to play with them or do really anything for them. The dad does everything and I literally mean everything. He works, cleans, cooks, takes care of them, puts them to bed, spends time with them bonding while she is out doing who knows what. She literally just bounces in the house at night usually around or after bedtime. She doesn’t even work but she is getting her masters in social work which is scary. Please don’t believe what you see.
This had no business being this wholesome.
I’m going to settle down with a strong woman, have 5 kids. Adopt 2. And live happily ever after on a big plot of land on a farm.
Life is beautiful. Don’t make it gruesome and evil when there’s so much beauty to draw from on this earth. God bless all 4 of these god sent angels.

@Kube Dog Is Back yeah, they came to me and told me they wanted to adopt me. I said yes. I was living with my birth mom who was a drug addict and couldn't take care of us. I've thankfully never been in foster care.

Not everybody deserves to be parents, but these people, they not only showed it, they earned it.

That mom is clearly stopping herself from being emotional in court as she is officially called mom but at same time she is soooooo much happy to cry.

She’s a women driven by basic emotion, it’s not some beautiful thing but something that needs to be suppressed and restricted.
@@earlturner5449 You're really just being as pessimistic as you can, aren't you? The chemical reaction for love is enticed in situations to a point where it encompasses a range of positive and strong emotional and mental states - combine that with the intense hormonal structure of women (and men) and you get those tearfully happy reactions.
Repressing it is something that is your own problem. A common chemical reaction is often one that is continuous because those chemicals normally have no reason to stop production.
Just because you have some issue with it does not imply it's a wrong thing. It's a natural human habit and reaction, that is begged upon on plenty of situations.
At the rate of comments you have, it's best to identify you as a troll. And I've wasted enough study time on chemistry and anatomy trying to figure it out.
Good day.
