I had the same issue with the rotating pull up bar. Even if they send you another one it may not work. The problem is in the tolerance of the pin that goes inside of the cross members some of them have to much play or not enough and the entire unit does not fit. On the second try I end up polish the bronze bushing to remove a kink because the pin could not go thru. I also grinded the pin which is welded on the arm. Do not grind the holes now it works I hope that you will be able to fix yours.
lol....no joke...I went through three of these pull up bars before Rogue FINALLY got it right!!! lol...they basically ended up completely assembling the pullup bar and mailing it as a whole to me to ensure everything is working properly! (which thankfully is now!!!...lol)

You said you took extra pieces off the rm-6 to make your lat station.. but I'm not seeing any extra pieces to work with 🤔 I was thinking of doing the same thing. Trying to figure how you managed it.
I had purchased extra pieces for my previous build...not sure if you saw my 8 post Mega Monster Rack vid....but I ended up using those extra pieces to reconfigure my rack into this!
I my rear section is 30 inches while the front section is 43 (73 inches of depth plus the 9 inches the three 3x3 uprights take up, so around 82 inches total length). Width wise, my rack is the same. 43 inches plus the 30 inch side section and three 3x3 uprights (82 inches total)....therefore my rack is about 82x82
It's actually a rack I purchased from Body Solid YEARS ago...I only recently stripped it, primed, and painted it to match my rack. GDR60 is the actual model number though if you're interested.
I love what you did with extending the area for a dedicated lat pulldown. This is similar to what I had in mind before purchasing my rack. I was going to buy a RM3 + custom uprights and 43" crossmembers. You mentioned that you got these extra pieces from your RM6? Can you elaborate on this? I don't see extra upright and crossmembers from an RM6 to build this. In addition, do you mind providing the width of the crossmembers you used for the lat pulldown? Thanks!!!
Thank you! I'm not sure if you've seen my previous video (mega monster rack)..if not...you may want to watch it as I go into detail about the extra crossmembers/uprights I ordered to create that rack...I then went on to take those extra pieces and form my current set up. (I purchased two uprights and four 30 inch crossmembers) hopefully that helps
Thanks for the video, Matt. Sweet set up! I’m a little confused by how you were able to do the side attachment for lat pull/low row without needing extra cross members, etc. Would you mind letting me know a little more detail? I’m looking to do something similar and was hoping I wouldn’t have to go Sorinex Apex or Rogue Monster Cave 😄
Thank you Sir! I appreciate it! lol...you DEFINITELY need extra crossmembers/uprights...I didn't need any extra because I had previously purchased them for another rack build (check out my other 8 post rack video)..I was able to take the pieces from that build and transform my rack into what you saw in this video.
You can use the rear section of the RM-6 to branch off the side of the main rack section ...however...I'd still suggest replacing the pair of crossmembers coming off the side with some that are at least 30 inches or longer (that way you aren't as crammed)
Haha!!! Oh I lift...lift myself outta bed every morning!!! 😂...I might not look like much, but trust me... I've got home gym built muscles under this rugged exterior!!!
I'm doing research now for building a setup like this for my house. Was there a particular set you started with? Are all the additions compatible? I looked at the rogue site and it was alot to digest. They don't offer an actual printed catalog, that was very disappointing. Any advice where I should begin?
I started with their RM-6 rack...and built from there. (the Monster RM-6 is their 3x3 1 inch hole rack with a 43 inch section in the front and a 24 inch section in the rear). As long as you stay within your rack line, all the attachments are compatible (as long as I purchase monster attachments)...Rogue offers several different lines of racks (with monster being their top tier), so I'd suggest figuring out which line will suit your needs best then start looking at different configurations next.
