Freaking awesome 👏🏽. I have Skunk2 CAÍ + Full Race on my FA5. I already have the skunk2 headers just waiting to be installed next month, since I’m replacing my clutch first
I think I found the setup I wanna go for. My old si had sk2 headers with sk2 catback it’s just wayyyy to loud literally just no point of having a civic that loud. The full race exhaust just gives it that perfect tone I love it. I’m super indecisive I wanna go with the full race but I’m thinking on the q300 too
rcysiFg2 I have a automatic Honda Civic 06 4doors with air intake. Can I get it to sound like yours if I get the same exhaust? Your exhaust sounds nice
@@yerizone6059 sort of. It will have a similar sound but a lot of the brappppp you hear is shift range used for a manual transmission. It allows you to boost Rpm between each shift giving it that nice sound at around 5k rpm. In an automatic you just won’t have as much control and the speed upgrade won’t be quite as much of a jump. But it will still sound awesome!!
@@yerizone6059 like stevo said. You may get a similar sound. But also I have a skunk2 header in this video, which changes the sound quite a bit. and you have a different motor as well. K series has a specific sound, a bit different from an r18. But if you go with full race and header you may get somewhat of a similar sound.
No. I have a skunk 2 header so it's 3in to 3in. But if you're gonna put it on a stock header full race will give you the option for a mid pipe to fit a stock or aftermarket header.
When you installed the j35 with the p2r spacer, did you had to get it tuned? I have the exact same set up with a basemap calibration, but my j35 fluctuate up to 3k.
Do you need a cat to pass inspection in your state? Is there any way to run a test pipe with alpha header + full race exhast? I'm just scared of getting pulled over and not having a cat. I have good inspection so that's not an issue but I want to be able to easily put a cat in for the future. Sorry any information you can share about this would help me a lot.
@@rcysiFg2 thanks for the reply. I'll call around and see the possibilities. I know k series makes headers with a test pipe but I don't think they are as good as the alpha. I may settle and do that because that'd be the easiest I think.
Got 2005 stock accord, am yet to be beaten in straight line by any other accords with k20/24, my k20 feels like tuned or something, it pulls like crazy
@@uwkcal Ya, thats what I run Is a hasport rear mount. Nope, header fit on perfectly. only thing I did was replace the header gasket on the head, and got a s2000 donut gasket for the downpipe.
@@rcysiFg2 wow thanks alot bro for the replies!! I also have a bunch of fg2 videos idk if u have seen or not yet? ruclips.net/video/O4Mv-vhCWok/видео.html I plan on getting Race flashpro dyno tuned on this thing.. true fbo
No. You don't have to have it for just H/E. Tbo tho for the price of the skunk2 header and Full race exhaust. Your money would be better spent on a good 3.5"CAI and flashpro, IF overall power is the goal.
@ Mark Rubio Dude probably lost power. N/a engines need some back pressure. Yes you need hondata if you want to make power. If you just want to make a lotta noise don’t get a tune. Also you’re air fuel ratios would be f’d. And engine will run like crap.
With both header and exhaust you'll need Flashpro. You can get by without Flashpro with just a catback but it isn't ideal. Just good for sound. I ran a Full Race catback for a bit over 10k miles without Flashpro and datalogged my air/fuel prior to tuning, and while the fuel trims were all over the place, the A/F wasn't dangerous at any point in time. No knocks or anything, probably just lost power in the low end. When I put Flashpro on it felt like a completely different car. Mid-range torque is much smoother and it doesn't bog down below 3k rpm nearly as much, on top of the obvious WOT power increases and elimination of rev hang. High RPM shifts feel much faster and more precise, no more shifting into 2nd as the tachometer hangs at 8k for an eternity.
No matter what exhaust for the k20-24 set up I just cant get into this sound. To raspy for me. Shame because the K swap for the miata is what I was thinking on doing but now I think I'll do something else. P.S while writing this comment I had to mute the sound because it got to obnoxious for me. Shame, I really wanted to like this engine but there is no exhaust that makes it deep sounding instead it's all raspy and iconic Honda rice fart cannon sound. Thanks for the upload I left a like for you taking the time to post.

You don't have to have the tune adjusted for it no, may run a TAD leaner. Probobly need to do the relearn procedure to stop the fluctuation
