@@DailyDiligence deeper and richer sound. Cold starts will go from waking your neighbors up to actually making your neighbors coming out of their house to admire your car(sarcasm). With both on you'd probably get 10-15 HP with a tune.
The header would sound a lot better with a quieter exhaust like a q300. There's a video of a black 8th gen sedan with yellow wheels. It's got the alpha header with an invidia q300 and it's probably the best sounding civic I've heard.

Say if your throttle is 62mm wide. Should everything after that be matching in size or greater? Or maybe gradually reduce in size? (All the way to the exhaust tip) but idk if headers can be 62mm tho)

It comes with 2-3 inch adapter. This exhaust drone like crazy. Best sounding exhaust for 8th gen. But not great for daily.
