Thank you for the Balloon break idea! I am a first year teacher with kids with autism in middle school and the class is focused on executive functioning. I only have them an hour but I can definitely blow up some balloons and let them stand behind the desk and bat the balloons back and forth. I will be scrolling for more.

.... Also I wonder if you could tell me how the above exercises actually help with executive functioning struggles such as organization skills, changing tasks, etc......how do these exercises actually help with that? Thank you kindly

The activities we recommend: using visuals, using a metronome, and including new/novel activities - they help with learning new skills, learning how to organize time and space, sustaining attention, improving processing speed and auditory processing, and helping to learn new skills - these are all part of executive functioning.

Any particular speed on the metronome?

I may not have looked in the right place but I heard you mention that you have different ideas for bilateral integration? I don't know what that is yet but it sounds intriguing. Also you mentioned that you have a paper available that we can read that you found on meta-analysis? I don't know what that is either - but once again that sounds intriguing. Can you advise me please? Thank you kindly
