I'm a chilli head. What I found with the sauces is once you get to mega-hot it can only be because they have 'extract' in them (which I regard as a cheat). As a result those sauces are always a horrible taste. They all have a disgusting smell and flavour. Any very hot sauces without extract have usually got a good flavour and are worth using in cooking.
Tried da bomb before. When I saw the amount you dipped into, I was shouting “dont do it!” That sauce only needs a tiny droplet to add to chillie/ curry to add decent heat 😳😂
I tried this once in Cyprus and it blew my head off. I was at a BBQ at a friends house and they were non dairy so no milk or Yoghurt in the fridge. I couldn't taste anything for hours. Apparently you arent supposed to take a bit out of the top of the bottle where it is condensed but put a couple of drops in a big pan of chili DOH!!

Mix Da Bomb into a full bottle of Ketchup or other sauce, it lasts forever, use a teaspoon at a time until you get the heat you need, makes a lovely hot sauce that way and it makes it economical to use that way too. We've been doing this for years. Really nice in Regae Regae sauce, or HP
That chicken used to be £3 and 600g or 3 for £10. Iceland has definitely gone up in price but I buy these strips in the southern fried love them, thanks for that review ❤
I think they get panned a bit unfairly. I'm no Iceland spokesman but all supermarkets prices have gone up and unfortunately for Iceland they have to pay the electricity on a shop full of freezers! There margin can't be that high but they obviously have to make money.the big supermarkets have greater purchasing power .
Never mind the milk in the fridge, put a loo roll in the fridge!🔥😆 Seriously though drinks with a high fat or alcohol content do help to disperse and cool the chilli sensation down, so a beer could be part of your chilli-recovery plan! Cheers Gareth!

Oh Foodie I have been waiting for this, at the end you was having an Endorphin rush which is quite natural. I went through the same feelings and yes the flavour is not great but it's an extract basically so even though not high on Scoville rating it does pack a punch 👊👊 well done for trying it.

(187) Yeah, this craze for overly-hot condiments usually involves sauces like this that have no pleasant flavor whatsoever. I worry about what the health consequences will be in the future for people who eat stuff like that as the years go by.
Little tip for everyone regarding the bomb sauce, I use it purely for adding to curries,chilli or even beef stews for extra heat, use it as a mixer not on its own, for instance 5parts ketchup with 1 part DaBomb really nice BUT I also make wings for the BBQ this summer Dabomb sauce with Honey & BBQ marinate it really takes on a diff life when you use it as a mixer AND TO NOTE you only add very little as it goes a long way, it’s actually really good used this way, you work out how much to add for your own taste, Hope this helps 👍

Great review Gaz as always 500g of chicken strips is not that bad 300g of mini chicken fillets is £3 in Aldi and a way to counter the chilli spice is put a piece of chocolate in you mouth and the spice goes away ( Top Tip ) 👏👏👍👍
I've tried this sauce before, honestly the scoville unit isn't that high compared to most extremely hot sauces but there is something inside it (strong chilli extracts I think) that makes it unbearably painful. I actually brought into work once for a bit of fun and each individual , who tried it, ran straight to the fridge for the milk I brought in. If you have never tried it before, have a small dab, that'll be enough else the pain will be excruciating and lasts for ages 😂😂
Yes it's the extract that does it and the metallic taste is not pleasant, there's some really nice hot sauces out there ( i know a few people that make and sell them ) but Da bomb isn't one of them. If you want some great hot sauces check out Chilli of the Valley based in Wales and he's won a few awards for his sauces enjoy 😄

Ha! When you pulled out the Da Bomb sauce I said "oh no" out loud. It's painfully spicy for the sole purpose of heat, not a good taste either I find. A drop of it in dishes isn't too bad, but not raw like that.
Four quid is a bit steep but I'm going to have to buy some to try. Mate has just come back from OZ and brought me a bottle of Bunster's Shit The Bed hot sauce which would be a perfect pairing I reckon.

Not sure if you have tried them but go to home bargains as they do a varied amount of breaded, battered, and hot chicken goujons. They are spot on for the money and the spicy ones are really nice. If you haven’t already give those a whirl! They do new salt and pepper shredded and southern fried etc so plenty variation.

You can't make this up, hubby's just got back from Iceland, there were no chicken strips out so he asked, they had just come in. Bearing in mind our freezer is rammed full of food, he was supposed to be getting one of the hot ones and one bag of Pakora Strips. He bought 6 bags, I'm NEVER letting he go shopping again! Ha..ha..

Gareth that hot sauce reminded me of hot insanity sauce you could buy from the local butcher's, I once put a pinhead of sauce in a tin of beans it was to hot for me,my mate could eat it like he was eating tomato sauce,òne of the local landlords would give the sauce out with food laid on after midweek pool competitions some lads would have virtual panic attacks it was that hot.
da bomb is a sauce where you add a few drops in heat up a curry m8 ..i have and also seen many other peeps do it raw like you did for bragging rights .. its one of the hottest if not the hottest sauce i ve tried.. only beaten by eating a Caroliner Reaper and extract..love the channel m8 keep up the good work pal

You can't make this up, hubby's just got back from Iceland, there were no chicken strips out so he asked, they had just come in. Bearing in mind our freezer is rammed full of food, he was supposed to be getting one of the hot ones and one bag of Pakora Strips. He bought 6 bags, I'm NEVER letting he go shopping again! Ha..ha..

Gareth that hot sauce reminded me of hot insanity sauce you could buy from the local butcher's, I once put a pinhead of sauce in a tin of beans it was to hot for me,my mate could eat it like he was eating tomato sauce,òne of the local landlords would give the sauce out with food laid on after midweek pool competitions some lads would have virtual panic attacks it was that hot.

da bomb is a sauce where you add a few drops in heat up a curry m8 ..i have and also seen many other peeps do it raw like you did for bragging rights .. its one of the hottest if not the hottest sauce i ve tried.. only beaten by eating a Caroliner Reaper and extract..love the channel m8 keep up the good work pal

Those chicken things are what I would call "drunk food". I have a bottle of that Da Bomb - it is defo NOT a dipping sauce !!! It is only slightly milder than Alien's Blood !!!! I like Chilli, but you is well mental for trying that combo !! 🥴
