The BBC did a documentary about this pizza a couple of years ago.
It’s mass produced as we would expect. But the topping is put on by hand 🤷♂️🤣

They’ve also got a spicy sweet & sour which is just at my limit for spice. Tonight I had their cheese & chilli hot dogs which were very good!
I always find that the spicier and hotter the food is, the moreish-ness increases. Trouble is you have to wade through a hundred products stating they're hot when they're actually tasteless, first. Nice find.

Great video Gareth, been looking for this one in my local Iceland stores in Norwich for ages but none of them have stocked it yet. I think the heat is created by the pepper extract rather than any specific chilli.

Great vid! I tried one of these by accident a bit ago, i was offered a slice. It was an experience 😂
I actually bought 2 of these to try and the 1st one I ate normally straight from. The packet. And wow that really packed a punch. But the second one I tried to make hotter by adding extra chillis and some onions, it actually had the opposite effect and seemed alot milder than without the added toppings. I'm gonna have to buy some more as I really do enjoy them.

I've got visions of hundreds of people looking like super mario, sitting on stools on a cobblestone lined floor tossing and aerating their pizza dough. Lol. Got to watch those jalapeños and peppers. Being not shy of spice with a somewhat asbestos mouth I gave this a go… the labelling is spot on, it is seriously hot and had me looking like a dyslexic in a spelling test! I want another one now 😊💣💥

Great review Gareth, makes a change for the warnings to live up to the product. BTW The antidote for when it exits is to wipe the affected area with a half tomato from the fridge! Toilet paper in the fridge is not a good look! PS, try to use an organic tomato.

Iceland also do chicken goujons with the same caution type border on the packing. I believe it’s ghost pepper breadcrumb coating ( if I remember the packaging correctly had them a few weeks back ). Tasty to say the least can usually get them in the 3 bags for 10 quid or £4 for one bag deal so can mix and match.
Had one of them quite a while ago. As much of a spice demon I like to think I am, I just couldn't get past a quarter, it got to the stage where it was uncomfortable. Luckily I'd bought gaviscon that day too. Brave of you Gareth but I think they also make paint stripper in that little Italian "factory" as well. Top review 👊👍

Nice one Gaz normally these things that say Seriously SPICY HOT SAUCE means it's not going to be that hot. Then you look at the ingredients and Pepper extract this is almost pure capsicum ( the chemical that makes peppers hot ) you then know they'll telling the truth 🔥🔥🔥

"Factory" is the least of your problems. Among which is, pizzas are NOT supposed to have a crispy base!
If you after some cracking homely grub, I can recommend the Junction 38 Truckstop. It's a must stop when we stay in Orton.

Colour me impressed, it only has olive & sunflower oil in it. It's got be better than the run of the mill frozen pizza's with the usual rapeseed oils etc.

Ring of fire bad enough but if you go next one up I.e. Walk the Line , that’s where you are afraid to put one foot in front of the other by more than an inch , then watch out .

Yes, I completely agree, I always remember there was always a bottle in the cupboard but no ever drank it, it was there in case my Nan's blood sugar needed a quick adjustment, due to being diabetic. Nowadays, I see people at work guzzling the stuff.

For once, in a long time ? I like the look of this Iceland product.
£3 for a pizza isn’t bad, but my mind keeps heading back to “ beef granules”. I would rather see minced beef instead.
But all in all ? A great review of something I might buy and enjoy. Sadly for me, trip into town just for a pizza isn’t cost effective after I’ve paid for parking etc.

It looks like you wood cutting board is a bit warped. If I may suggest, if you ever buy a new wooden board, get a bottle of mineral oil and every 2 to 3 months, give the board a nice rub down with the oil. Let it dry so that the wood can absorb the oil. It will look brand new for many years.
I prefer my food not to bite back. A very long time ago my husband and I went to this previously unknown to us hole-in-the-wall restaurant up in the mountains. IIRC they served like Mexican/Tex-Mex/Fusion fare. Now, I am fine with a *little* warmth in that sort of cuisine but it was outrageous! It’s like a sadist was in the kitchen. No joke. The food was unpalatable. This was before you could look up restaurant reviews on your phone, I think. I eschew hot Cheetos and that sort of thing, as well.
