There will never be another ❤️ you Queen of Soul! Sleep In Heavenly Peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️
Amen brother
What a great and intimate concert.
I can not get over the girl about 3:10 singing her song word-for-word. Crowds in the Netherlands look great.
Fun fact about this consent, they weren’t allowed to move around and dance. So the guy that organised this concert in the Concertgebouw had to stop the show multiple times. Can’t imagine how lively it would be if people could move around a lot
@@iemand2612Why weren’t they?
@@hinderless5811 just the rules at the time in the building, i think? Dancing and singing along at concerts weren't really a huge thing until the 80s anyway
I wonder if we truly understand what this video represents, all aspects of it, not just the superlative performance, but the heat from performing under the extra heat of the filming lights. Look at everything in that film, think of the times, the US, the World. Aretha shows you that artist pay their dues. She was/is a gem, precious.
Yes! AND she is self-taught in the piano! Just a WONDER!
Aretha = musical genius. a soul genius indeed.
She was an extremely talented person... To be able to sing this beautifully and play the piano as phenomenally as she did ... There are no words
My My My WOW!! Those vocals r ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I see why she was the Queen. She sang the SHIT out of this. #RESTWELLQUEEN.
@@AC-kl8gi U r absolutely right about that! Long live the Queen. Blessings.
NOTHING LIKE ARETHA ON THE PIANO.
Those kids who sat right there, inches away - they could hear her actual singing. I'da given just about anything to be in one of those seats.

@3:45 look at them pass that joint in the background audience
But that's Carolyn, Aretha's sister in the audience! She did the backing vocals on this concert tour. Are you sure it's a joint? Indeed.. (Marihuana has been legal here for long).
