      I agree. I would think the companies that make trucks and the enviro types would disagree.

      @@TheGeneralMotorsGeezer-we3dgCompanies want people to keep buying their stuff, so something that doesn’t break down often will make them less money.
      Environmentalists don’t know that most of the tech that makes cars more efficient and environmentally friendly are not reliable and ultimately make more pollution via having to be replaced more frequently when they junk out or even sometimes incentivize people to buy a new car that also has the same unreliable stuff and junks out sooner anyways.

    Usually around that mileage that is when the Vortech engines have the spider injector issue that is why I’m doing the carb swap on my OBS Escalade I take it. This might be the reason why you were wanting to ask a couple questions?
    And yes, that delaminating clear has always been a major downfall. Do you remember when they had the silicone based primer and the paint would fly off going down the road down to the gray primer? Lol those were the days their paint job were crap but their trucks will run forever , congratulations on the truck. Sorry for your loss. Glad to see what you’re doing with your new channel. I will try to give you some shout outs and help get you a subscriber base. Also, might be able to help you out with a partnership with super clean looks like you’re going to have a lot of stuff that needs to be cleaned up, your T-shirt should be there any day now. Take care brother.

      I am suspicious of the injection spider or the pressure regulator. I want to keep this one stock. It's much cheaper to replace the injection spider than convert to a carberator. Thanks for any help on subs or super clean sponsorship.

    You would actually be surprised those vortec heads have an amazing flow and the combustion chamber is ideal for power. You can do the Forrell intake swap like I’m doing on mine and achieve much more than you could with an early 350 corporate block.

    • @scarface9617
      @scarface9617 Год назад +1

      yes, the vortec heads do flow very well.. or could just drop an LS down in it, also!

      @@TheGeneralMotorsGeezer-we3dg I did not like that concept either but as I looked into it, I realized that they are actually pretty good. They hold boost from a supercharger or a turbo perfectly so in my book that is well enough lol.

    I have a 97 C1500 ext stepside with same fender trims. Im looking to remove them too since mine is already rusting on there..... Then it gets a good paintjob. Now the truck is matt black and thinking about high gloss black.
