Hi Steve, by chance would you have a good condition 16V head for my US spec 2.3 190E 16V? I've rebuilding the long block but, just before the rebuild the #1 cylinder dropped a valve seal and bent a valve in the process, creating much damage to repair. I'm looking for a good condition head to install new valves and higher performanc cams. Thanks much!
So I'm planning on rebuilding my m102 8v with EFI and itbs. Are there any pistons option I found that the vq34 pistons is the same size also is the 3 mm head gasket worth it or stock is good and is the aftermarket cam that's sold in Europe worth it?

As far as the “junk” remark. You know nothing. Mercedes Benz is and always has been, ahead of any other car. And compare apples to apples. The M113 Engine is the German LS. 550 at the wheel on my daily driver with no internal upgrades and will go a half million miles. And I have a twin turbo LS in my Gbody. It’s a great engine. This comes from someone who owns both. To call Cosworth garbage is just showing your lack of knowledge. No Engine Builder would ever call Cosworth garbage.

@@stevepitbull YES, that is a very simple statistical fact since august of 1995 I've heard and seen one success story after the other of powertrains lasting a good consistant 400,000 plus miles on Mercedes Benz vehicles with common sense maintaince intervals from late 80's 560 SEL's all the way now !
