Set a specific time aside each day to do Bible study and no matter how you feeling choose to prayer to God and do Bible study in that time. On days you dont feel like doing it tell God that and ask Him for the strength to do it.

I feel you! I had to start going to the bathroom to pray and then eventually I found myself going to my room every so often to pray and sit in His presence. It’s nice to just go sit and be still before Him!

With online vs printed commentaries I think a better analogies is fanfiction vs proper novels. It’s not so much the price that shows the quality but the fact that they have gone through an editorial and printing process that shows they are more worthy imo

Hi Ashley and Taylor! It's always delightful to watch you two. It makes me miss my three sisters since we are all far apart. But like you, we always bond through God's Word. I am so motivated to really learn God's word and you both inspire me. I realized that the more you read and study His Word, the more you crave for it. I decided to share what I learn here on RUclips. Funny thing is I also have a video about Bible study tools and supplies. I didn't know about timelines so I will for sure search more on that.

This is a great video, Thank You. I use a lot of commentaries, and a study Bible along with a few other resources. I use Crayola Twistable pencils to highlight, and post it notes are awesome. Love you girls! May God Bless you always.❤❤❤

Yes so true about knowing the timeline! I went through a study called “The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation” by Jeff Cavins from Ascension Press and it was such a game changer! Highly recommend

I haven’t read or even picked up my bible in about a month. I haven’t watched any of the Christian youtubers I watched daily.. I haven’t attended church online, done bible studies, prayer, etc. I struggle a lot with mental health issues and my sense of self/my identity shifts a lot. This affects my religion and spirituality. It’s really hard to cope with. I constantly switch between wanting to be the side of myself who believes in the Lord, and wanting to be the side of myself who practices Wicca. I’m very torn about it because I don’t know what’s right for me and what will make me happy and allows me to be myself. I’m so lost. I want both but it doesn’t seem possible. (Just an fyi, with Wicca I don’t believe in other gods. I just believe in nature’s natural energy and beauty. Hopefully that makes sense to you) idk. Sorry to leave such a personal and ranty/venty comment on this video

Commentaries are only people’s opinions.
Just because someone when to seminary school doesn’t mean He/ She has knows the word of God.
The word was given to us for Free.
Think about it. It was a revelation given by God to his prophets, disciples, appointed Kings. The authors didn’t asked for a penny for it.
Please read proverbs:30:5 and Revelation 22:18-19.
We should not add or subtract to the word of God because that’s a sin.
That’s what Satan does. He give mix teaching and twist the word.

When it comes to marking passages of scripture in your bibles, what do you do when you've marked a passage a certain way because it touched you in a certain way, but want to mark it a different way because it later on touched you in a different way?
