How is this different than me asking an artist to make something in his style, using his name.

If you ask an artist to do it, his brand is on it and he chose that and you bought it from him. Using his name on 'ai images' is a way to use him to pony off his work for profit, which shouldn't be allowed unless the estate or artist says so lol
