you are fantastic. I like how you take the time to teach. I saw your tissue box and just had to make one. ran to walmart got two fat quarters. happy sewing everyone.
Cute box for other things as well. I imagine rolls of fat quarters inside or I have a deep drawer where I store serger threads. It would be nice to make a few of these and separate large thread spools nicely by color. Even my pantry could probably use one of these to hold odd bits like seasoning envelopes. Possibilities are endless.
I love this little tissue box holder. I have made 5 of them thus far. I used one of them to store my Fat Quarters in! Works perfectly for that too! I sorted my stash of FQ’s into colors and made the “tissue” box color to match. Works great!
Can you also make bigger boxes with this method? This is so cute! I would love to watch more box making videos too. Maye rectangular for small storage etc. Your tutorials are so easy to understand. Thank you so much!
Hi Diana. I attach my buttons the old fashion way using good old needle and thread --- LOL. On some projects I use my sewing machine button attachment to stitch the buttons on for me. Stay safe. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Hi Aunt. The fleece might be too thick for folding the corners over. But try it - it might work ok. Glad you liked the tissue box holder tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Yes same here I wonder if we change the dimensions from 14 inch square to 15 inch or would that be too big/wide for the tissue box? It wouldn’t be snug for sure

how much bigger say 1/2" or 1" to make it taller so the top of the box doesn't show
I found 1/2 inch worked to cover cube box
Thanks for another great project idea. Have you ever thought about maybe publishing a How To book with all of your creative projects?
You’re welcome. Maybe someday! 😀❤️
Love It!

When you say tack the button on, do you sew it or use a micro basting tacking gun
Hi Diana. I attach my buttons the old fashion way using good old needle and thread --- LOL. On some projects I use my sewing machine button attachment to stitch the buttons on for me. Stay safe. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Can I use fusible fleece 987?? It’s what I have
Hi Aunt. The fleece might be too thick for folding the corners over. But try it - it might work ok. Glad you liked the tissue box holder tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
After you put the tissue box in, it looked like Chinese takeout😊
LOL! 🤣
I use Puff tissues. Do u have a pattern for them?
Hi Western Maine. Not at this time, but thank you for the suggestion. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
I tried it but the tissue box is bigger than what made
I would like it to be a little taller. So the top of the box doesn't show.
Yes same here I wonder if we change the dimensions from 14 inch square to 15 inch or would that be too big/wide for the tissue box? It wouldn’t be snug for sure
Not difficult BUT got all befuddled turning it…🥺
Hi Gerry. Sorry you had difficulty when turning. Hope that you do not give up. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
