Those look great! Back in the 80s, i used to bind my quilts the same way. I got fussed out by some quilters for taking this short cut, but my quilts were for the beds, not for museum pieces! Works great for placemats too. Nice video! Thanks.

I would like to thank you for this video. Along with sewing, I also do machine embroidery and have orders for pot holders. Mine are a little different from yours, I use 2 layers of cotton batting along with 1 layer of insul brite. I add a pocket to the front and that is white I do my embroidery on. I have seen this before, but I need to practice before finishing my potholders. Thank you so much for this video. I love all your videos

Thank you for making a video for us! I found a product called 'Insul-Bright'. It is a smart insulation. The polyester fibers resist conduction while the reflective metallized film resists radiant energy. the energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source. Fiberfill or batting will do, but I really liked this product for pot holders and oven mitts.

Thank you for making a video for us! I found a product called 'Insul-Bright'. It is a smart insulation. The polyester fibers resist conduction while the reflective metallized film resists radiant energy. the energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source. Fiberfill or batting will do, but I really liked this product for pot holders and oven mitts.
