They have said that updates, new features and a relaxing of the restrictions are coming. It will be interesting to see how things change over the coming months.
Thanks! I've pulled my hair out more than once building in both this game and Fallout 4. 😂 Practice has helped though, things go much more smoothly than they did when we first started playing.
I just built my house 2 staircases up and i put sloped roof pieces around it but now i want to put flat roof pieces in the middle and it keeps saying 'outside build area'
A server hop might solve it. The game sometimes gives the wrong error message though so build area might not actually be the problem. It also depends on where the camp unit was originally placed. The build area is a cylinder with the original position at it's centre, so depending on how high you are above that point you could be at the upper limit. It's hard to be sure without being there. 🤷♂️
Nice build. Once I get my camp a little closer to completion it would be cool if you'd stop by. It's my most interesting one yet, I just need to get the other building tabs. My player name is Nukashine76. I don't really know how to search other players. (I'm on an Xbox)
I'm on PC so unfortunately I won't be able to visit, you could tweet pictures though if you like. If you want to search players the easiest way is to open the map, and go into the social window from there. You should have an option to search there somewhere.
Kudos for figuring this out, Bethesda needs to revamp the build mechanics. Ain't nobody got time for this.

I always wanted a stone building and reverse brick wall makes it possible so I'm guessing you use two foundations to reverse one wall n delete one?
Pretty much. It leaves s bit of an overhang but the brick makes for a nicer texture.
