  • Another huge compilation tutorial, this time on conduits and power management! Most of these tricks are known amongst the pro builders, but there's a couple that I've never seen anyone do but me. Specifically, the floating wall decor technique that I show here is one I haven't seen else do it quite like that. Also really feel that the technique for perfectly placed conduit stacking will be very helpful.
    As promised. please show ‪@greengrass28g‬some love and check out his tutorials. He is the epitome of a master builder. Here is a link to his tutorial on conduits/wire glitching.

    Some old tricks from FO4 working in 76. The mat/sign trick was the best trick I learned ages ago. My go to power trick was hiding the gens and connectors inside the foundations. So much budget is saved now with the new wireless gens. Great tutorial! Thanks for the shout out!💚

    Loved the video. I'm noob about building tricks. First thing I did with conduits was a "tube" to that water boiler and the beverage workbench. Thanks for the tips

      Yes, if only! I always wonder what I could do with an extra 20% budget... especially when I run out of budget and have to start making tough choices. Thanks for checking it out!

    Now that explains some stuff... and I'm having ideas already. I never thought that toggle trick with the conduits would work that well (and easy)
    Thanks for sharing! =D

      I remember when I figured that out. It was a huge "AHA!" moment... until I thought about all the time I wasted trying to align everything manually. Then I was more irritated that I hadn't figured it out sooner lol! Glad you found it helpful!

    More stuff to add to the "gonna be trying this on my next build" file. I'm totally gonna try the ladder trick though on my current build.

      The ladder trick was a game changer for me, because I use it regularly in my tiny builds. Happy you find my tutorials to be inspiring! Thank you for all the support my friend!

    With the small Vault Tec blue generator, I put the connector on top, connect the wire, then drop merge the connector into the generator. Now you can drop merge the generator into a stash box or other iitem. Completely hidden power.

      Yes, that is a great idea! I think I mentioned that idea very briefly in passing, but I probably should have shown it in the video. Totally agree, especially if you need a small hidden generator!

    I cheat by putting my power systems underground using the symptomatic elevator method.
    Cables can connect through the ground from underneath so it's a huge time and space saver.

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  2 месяца назад +2

      That's a smart move. I often do that as well when I can. One thing I should have mentioned in the video is that you can also do the symptomatic trick on the generator itself (if you have the utility generator) using a really small camp item. Thanks for checking it out Funkles!
