Honestly, the easiest way is to just freeplace a wall that's lined up with the hole in the roof, then catwalk off of it to create your room.

@@xTristan69x Unfortunately no. But if you really want to use chessboards, just have sunshine build them at your camp. Currently, this is allowed by Bethesda. In the build menu.

It allows me to put other angle walls in but not the blue ridge for some reason

If it's letting you put the other angled wall in, that's actually fine too. Just place whichever angled wall it will let you place, then switch it to the Blue Ridge angled wall, and then switch that to a half wall as needed.

@MoonlightCowboyGaming Tried that, and for some reason, Blue Ridge isn't an option to switch to.

@victorwright4498 So switch the angle of your current angled wall to go the other direction. Then you should find it.

For the windchime merge, the windch8me is likely in the way. Simply destroy the item the windchime is attached to (probably a wall) and the windchime will disappear. Then put your lantern in place and repair. Easy. As for the flamethrower merging, it does not work with all items.

I’m actually under the bridge next to that bridge, but getting those foundations inline and center was the worst. Also, it’s deeper over there, so it’s real hard to have stuff touching the ground, but not be underwater and implacable.

Based on my tutorial, I can't imagine I've encouraged anyone to build there LOL! It's a very tricky spot, and that bridge is insanely crooked. I only did this tutorial so that I wouldn't have to build there ever again 😅

This is one of those builds that I did solely for the purposes of doing a tutorial this location is such a POTA that I typically avoid it like the plague. However, my hope is sunshine will see what I did and make it workable for their needs. Always appreciate your support my friend!

Yes, good question. You need to blueprint each wall shape in order to place them. You can then piece them from your blueprint menu. I'm assumimg you're talking about the part around 6:59 I'm the video? I used catwalks to place a wall out at that distance. I then added a roof to that wall. I changed the shape of the roof to disconnect it from the wall. I was able to them remove the wall. With only the roof remaining, I can then attach roofs angled down to lower the height, or angle that roof up and attach a flat roof to raise the height. At 7:00 it goes from one ceiling to two. The other one so the walls will clip through the rail itself I assume but I cannot figure out how to get from putting the first ceiling down to the one above it for the monorail

@@sarahmichellex3 I see. All you need to do is angle your ceiling up. Then attach a flat ceiling. Then angle it up. Then attach a flat ceiling. Keep repeating the process until you hit the desired height.

To use flooring, you will have to snap upper floors to floating stairs. Just be careful, because once you snap floors to floors or stairs in the sky, the floors will not be removable. Same with stairs.

I didn't build that camp. My buddy XxLast1LeftxX made it. I had built something in that spot about a year or two ago. I may do one if there's enough interest in that location.

You can, but you would need to place the walls manually, and use roofs as floors to get it to work, as you can't place the round foundation BP.

The tutorial is going to be a bit tricky, but one could take parts of the tutorial and use foundations for the base of the bridge on both sides to save budget and frustration.

Good to know. I feel like several of my builds would not meet OSHA standards. If you count deaths from sky builds... my 300A form alone would be nightmare fuel for any inspector.

Made for a great tutorial, but the camp itself is only just above average.

Oh man... this one was a bear to crank out. I would say that I have pretty much mastered these pre-existing structures. Not because I'm some special talent, but instead through repetition and practice during many, many attempts.

The working gas stove was really next level. Some other aspects of the build were quite difficult, such as the roof and the walk merges.

The bridge was the best part of that one. I built it for a water building tutorial.

I was sad when I deleted that build yesterday. I loved how it all came together on that hill surrounding that tree. Lots of offset wall and roof trickery here.
