I’m still new to the Batman beyond mythos, and I think it’s a shame that it is so hard to get a Batman beyond film off the ground. Hopefully, maybe one day when the new DC universe comes up, we can finally see with Batman beyond be made.
Batman is so overexposed these days, but Batman Beyond is a fresh take on the character that hasn’t been fully explored. Personally it’s the only Batman I’m really interested in seeing

I'm actually really glad the dceu version was scrapped tbh 1 it was gonna be written by the person who wrote the flash which I hate and Batgirl which i can't really judge obviously 2 it was gonna be set in normal present day dceu so no cool cyberpunk/blade runner style universe and no stuff like older commissioner Barbara Gordon 3 it was seemingly gonna be more focused on nostalgia bait from the Burton stuff like for example Michelle pfeiffer catwoman coming back If they do batman beyond with keaton it should be elseworlds disconnected from everything including his old movies since the characterization and supporting cast doesn't really work in that world Have it be it's own thing and have keaton play a new version of the character similar to jk Simmons playing multiple versions of j jonah Jameson a version that had a batfamily and a no kill rule Either that or make the animated movie Or we wait until affleck or dcu batman are age appropriate💀
Agree that it was clearly nostalgia bait. I can’t imagine a batman beyond film in modern day lol. Sounds more like a cash grab then a genuine attempt to capture the spirit of the show.
Ten years from now, Batman enters the public domain. Remember it's only the early DC #27 1939 Batman, so all later iterations will still be protected. And to make it worse, WB have Trademarked the name 'Caped Crusader' and Batman's bat symbol, so it could still be a challenge.

At least you English speakers have it good: you have a lot of newer Batman series and spinoffs on TV or on YOUR streaming providers. Some even on YT. haha, look for modern animated Batman series in German, you won't find anything there, even if only 30 sec excerpts.

In my opinion, if you as a studio/company want to do something with the rights of the brand that makes sense and is reasonable, you should, in MY opinion, consider a few guiding ideas: 1 . The series should simplify the world of the source material as best as possible ./ In this case, darkly oppressive, uncomfortable but also modern fututistic. 2. In addition to the production, you let the original series and works on which you build / or get "inspired" run in a continuous loop on computers and monitors, / In order to always have a concrete reference to camera angles, capturing objects and artistic representation of the content. as well as a reference comparison of what you want to do. next points IN the next comments from me .
3. a team that also consists of people who are really interested in making a Batman series and are not looking for commercial worldwide success. YOU CANNOT PLEASURE EVERYONE. 4. little to SHOULD it work, no BIG creenscreen backgrounds and greenwalls where the series is created. Like simple and practical effects like in the 70s - 90s. Real sets and backdrops should work. 5. Feel free to use the original series as a guide and structure, source + but also incorporate useful peculiarities and ideas. / for filler flying or stretching basic stories. 6: Cover your costs: place products quietly to cover costs / AS LONG as it is installed cleverly, coolly and sensibly. 7. Have your test audience consists of Batman "fans" but also anime and people in general. People between 24 and early 40 can also be considered a review. CHILDREN and young people can also use it. NOT JUST some 60+ year olds. DIRECT FEEDBACK is important

I will say it’s probably too expensive. Look at the future set Blade Runner 2049 which was well received but bombed.
