One wind also has a skirt that you can double with the poncho...do you have one? Could you do a review for this? I am thinking I’d add the skirt to the rain gear that I wear...being it’s a skirt it makes movement easier in my mind. But.... Thanks Blackie appreciate all you do. Stay safe take care and God bless🙏🇺🇸🦅
Awesome idea for the Blackbird haversack upgrade Blackie. It gave me the idea to attach a Russian Plash Palatka Poncho/Canvas Tarp onto the bottom of my Blackbird with Jam knots, to make a Knapsack type carry option. Looking forward to the Sunday Video, I carry my haversack everywhere, it's top quality. Have a great day!
Looks good, I bought one of the onewind hammocks after seeing your video. You may look at Arcturus on Amazon, they have a light weight poncho that is just like US poncho, lots of colors. Camo is a britsh dpm good pice of kit. Cheers
Thats a nice looking light weight one. Ive gotten a light weight and a heavy poncho. The heavy one is a mel-tech...ripstop nylon with a rubberized inside. Not good for summer but a heavy duty kit iteam for the icey winters we've been having in southern Missouri the last few years
Just got mine in. It looks fine just as you said Blackie. I wonder why you never mentioned how hard it is to get back into the stuff sack. I lost lots of calories and took a lot of time just doing it. The small stuff sack is not worth it; I'm looking for a larger one. Outside of that, It's a fine product. We'll see about the longevity of it. John Green
I was fortunate to get in on the second batch of BLACKBIRD HAVERSACK. So looking forward using it as an emergency bug out bag/kit. Thanks for the continued support info.
Is it still holding up good after a few years? What size is yours (S/M/L) that covers the hammock? I have the 11’ ultralight hammock now I need the correct size poncho that will cover it.

That looks like a good hikers poncho. I might have to pick one up. 👍🏻

my pleasure
Looks like an awesome poncho for backpacking but probably too thin to go off trail with if you had to do some bushwhacking.
My thoughts exactly

Where can I get a black bird haversack?
Is it rip stop
I’ll have to check that out.
I'm buying a onewind hammock but don't know which ones to buy . I'm 6' & 270 lb can you recommend the one
THE DOUBLE WIDE WILL GIVE YOU LOTS OF ROOM AND IT WILL HAVE A 1000LB LIMIT..MY FRIEND DAN LUTZ IS 6'8 AND HE LOVES HIS
You can roll an Army poncho to that size, too.
That's a good one too though.
it is but double the weight i carried a u.s. for many yrs..in this haversack i am going for lighter to keep total lbs down
@@BLACKIETHOMAS yep. Weight is always the enemy
their website says 9.1oz, for those who like exact numbers
