- Hello friends! Thank you for being here! Today I am talking through why I left Instagram over 6 months ago and why I do not plan to go back! I'd love to hear your thoughts and experience with Instagram in the comments!

For some reason my comment didn't go through last time so I wanted to go back and tell you that I enjoy your channel very much. Never.
Thought I would want to do social media.So I never got into it because I knew I needed a more personal close relationship with others. I started.
A group called choose joy about ten years ago and we have been very close through to illness, Accidents , death and much much joy and everything in between. These are the blessings that God will give us if we are willing to go to him in prayer and just ask him for the things that we need.In this world. He is such a gracious and loving father. Our creator, Our guide and teacher, And he?
Loves us so much. God bless you all out there.I pray you find these more personal connections that you seek.❤

Life’s ups and downs! That’s amazing. It’s how it should be. I had a close knit group like that I was apart of for five years or so before I relocated states, and it was a very special time in my life. God uses everything! I believe he is doing a new thing now where I’m at and it’s beginning to unfold. He’s so faithful! God bless you, Karen!
Me too. I don't miss social media at all. I rather spend more time with the Lord and without less distraction.

Gone onto Instagram with Facebook.I just had this instinct that it would take me away from all that was important to me. The Most important being God. About.
Ten years ago I started a group called choose joy. It's around 8 To ten women that are christians or aspire to know God More. We have been there for each other through sickness.And manywonderfully blessed together. To me , that is what god wants us to do is to connect personally with other women and help each other grow and Mourn, And enjoy life together and all god's gifts that he has given to us. I'm gonna pray that all others out there.Looking to connect will do it in this personal way. We call each other God sisters. I could not do life without them. They are gift. I pray for you all out there.Wanting to find connection with others. I am confident god will bring us to you as you go to him in prayer. Look forward to your next post.❤
Also though social media is a place to reach others and teach the Word. It might be the one place that someone lost hears the Word of the Lord. I feel ambivalent about it because it stresses me but I wouldn't find channels like yours without it.
@@RockDove5212 for sure, I agree. There are some platforms that I find more harmful than others, like Instagram. I don’t think all social media is created equal which is why this one is only about Instagram. I do love RUclips for all of the wonderful slower meaningful content you can find on here , and meeting folks like you who comment! I so appreciate your perspective and insight! Thank you :)
@@halleymastrolonardo yes I agree, although Instagram has loads of Christian accounts too to follow but it becomes overwhelming with all the other stuff to filter through.
I just found your channel via the last video I commented on and went to your page to see this as your most recent upload - and it's so funny because I've had this exact stirring in my soul for probably over a year on and off. I struggle with FOMO but this video gave me a lot to consider. I love RUclips for this reason too - so easy to just stop and not use it. I don't even use my instagram really for my RUclips either. Lots to pray about and ponder!! ❤
Awww so glad you found me! I’m happy to hear you’re thinking through social media and your usage! It is hard to know what steps to take. Fomo is so real! God will show you what you need to leave behind and what to keep :) I’m such a big fan of RUclips since I’ve joined recently! I love that I can connect with all sorts of moms and ladies on here since I miss that about IG
Im definitely not keen on technology at all but as the world changing we need it more unfortunately 😔 but ive always said less is more thats just me 😊and if i can get away with not usin it i will ❤
