I don't think he's factoring in fan excitement in the players they pick, lol... That's fan thinking, not pro GM of a multi-million dollar organization thinking.
This was a fantastic pick, I don’t know how people can 💩 on it…and him shouting to the crowd was epic. Valenti can pound sand. (“No, I don’t like that”…how can you not like that, Mike? 🤦🏼♂️) I know it’s fan service, but it was a smooth move to start off his career. Lions need an edge rusher more than an offensive lineman. Hopefully they choose another defensive pick in the 2nd however, best player available is the best strategy.
Saying he’s gonna take out every number 1 is confidence and or maybe cockiness. But it’s not the absence of being humble You want a future CB1 to be confident out there!
They asked him where he gets his confidence and he told a story about his Grandfather being a roofer. He's given his mother all the credit to his success. I truly believe Arnolds very humble, I just think he's proud that his hard work has proven successful and it in turn fills him with confidence, even to the point where it makes him sound cocky.
@@donbur1553 That its far more likely it will take him time to become the #2. Is there a chance he starts immediately? Of course. I just know many braindead fans will either freak out when he isnt that great right away, or they dont start him right away.
I thought the draft was gonna be a nightmare Mike? Thats what you said when the NFL announced Detroit as the location for this draft. Saying how it was gonna be a disaster here. Even laughing at our city. Now its great? Hypocrite.
Will Holmes continue to target Bama players after Saban's gone? He's the guy that coaches them up to be NFL ready. I see both sides of the pick value. We gave away a pick for 1 player. Normally, no sweat but now fans believe in Holmes, that he could grab a sleeper in the 3rd. On the other side he's a great player and a great kid. If it was a 4th I'd feel better and we would not have gotten away with giving up a 5th so it was the 3rd or try and trade back and probably lose some value there, or worse. They can't make a trade happen and end up with someone they're not in love with. We are splitting hairs here. Instead of getting a Mcdouble and a hamburger you spent a little bit extra and got yourself one juicy Double Quarter Pounder and if he pans out it ends up being a whole combo meal. That's worth it, us fans should be satisfied.

It's funny how some fake records Mike will mock (UofM sellout streak) and other fake records he takes seriously (Detroit draft attendance record). Bottom line is neither "record" is legit.
Mike I was thinking the same way ..that not only did Holmes like Arnold but he wanted to give the crowd and us fans something to get excited about

The Lions pick of Terrion Arnold helps the pass rush a lot.
facts this is not realized enough by fans
Hutch is going to serve up some hurt this season baby. Woooooo
It was beautiful even tho I had to watch it from a bar downtown because it got so packed
Absolutely!! Loved the pic of all those 250k trending on social media!!

I went to day three of the draft it was the best event ive ever went to ive been to concerts and plenty of sports games
Good pick for the Lions who needed help in the back field.

Depending on who you believe, picking Arnold may have had the added benefit of snatching him from GB
Takes time for most CB's to develop. And Arnold just turned 21 a month ago
They said that about TE Sam LaPorta he Debunked all that!!!

It just doesn’t feel right listening to these two outsiders talking about the Lions.
Why are you here?
Matt Chapman Mike? Can you pretend you actually follow baseball. He’s been fucking awful
The Lions drafted two slow CBs.
Ennis Rakestraw Jr. ran a 4.44 at his Pro Day.
Booooooooo!!!!!!
#1 Football isn't a track meet, genius.
#2 4.44 40 is nowhere near slow
#3 ur a slow fan.
You got to stop reading so much into 40 times game speed is different
They not slow 😂😂😂
