Just about any car can but some are more suited than others. Cars with frames tend to be preferred due to their strength. Unibody cars are designed to crumble in a crash. Some cars suspension are more harder to redesign to work with the up and down movement.
No fluid should come out when removing the motor. If fluid is in the motor, you have a shaft seal leak. Need to fix that or it will ruin motors and get worse.
If I'm seeing smoke from the motor when I hit the switch , will this trick bring it back to life or how would you tell that the motor is officially toast ?
A small amount of smoke is normal but I would take the motor off and clean it to insure it’s as clean as possible. If the motor is still working it is worth cleaning. Use it until it stops working. While you have the motor off you should check to see if there is fluid just inside the block around the key, if there is you need to replace the shaft seal on the pumphead because fluid is making its way into the motor which will slow it down and not work very well. It will also cause more smoke when you hit the switch.
@@russellharris2621 took apart that motor and holy smokes is it filthy !! Makes sense that it's smoking 🤣 , I cleaned up a old one and installed that for now and just by cleaning it up it works 100 times better . How often would you recommend cleaning the motors ?
@Russell Harris Lowrider Hydraulics i did before it went to paint prison. Yes. I'll get it back in 2 weeks but I'm trying to get it right before the Dallas Supershow
Ty bro! I’m a new lowrider so I wanta learn how to fix my own shit!

People burn through motors here so fast and it’s mostly due to poor maintenance, oil and dust on the commutator etc, great vid! 👍🏼🇬🇧
How often should this be checked/cleaned?

Will that make my motor smoke ?? I se white smoke but it dont smell like electric smoke
When you take the motor off will the hydraulic fluid spill out of the tank as well or do you have to empty out the hydraulic fluid from the tank first

About every 4-6 months just to keep them fresh.
Will a dirty motor keep your car from doing a standing 3 when it used too?
Not likely. My guess is that something else was changed.
