  • Save hundreds by doing it yourself. If you can draw around a pattern and cut along a line you should be able to do this!
The seats were a real mess. Rotten rat pee soaked bases and foam and sun cracked vinyl. But they were 'deluxe' seats and must be saved!
If you find my videos useful, perhaps you might consider chipping in for some gas money? Im too unwell to work now but I really want to keep bringing you these useful videos www.buymeacoffee.com/tinyhous...

i know! that insert vinyl was such a score! I have made patterns and now I can make std seats into deluxe seats at the drop of a hat. Supply lines from England are drying up so Im gearing up with patterns for all the parts I make- inner guards, bonnet reinforcements, door skins door frames. Ill be making door tops shortly but have to make a folder that can fold the tight top frame section

You can do it!! this job cos me $70 cos the insert vinyl was a bit pricy but the foam work was where I really saved- it was all done using a 40mm topper pad off a old bed

I made this video as short as possible - The seat covers were made from scratch from flat vinyl. Its a complex job doing Deluxe seats for a novice - but the std LR squab is only two panels and one seam- really simple. Ill do another vid in a few days that shows every detail of how to do a squab seat from scratch on the wife's sewing machine
