First time I've ever seen 'The Sunshine Family'. The guy with the red sweater is as creepy as all hell. Imagine waking up to see him peeping round your door at you, or just standing at the bottom of your bed, a silhouette, that you just know is staring at you, with that creepy grin on his face... Nope.
Big Space 1999 fan. Never knew about his character. Thanks for the video and the moment of silence. We all need a little quiet time during our day! :-)
So very cool! Never seen this figure up until now and I really love Space 1999 and as a kid I had one of the Halloween costumes but no one knew who I was supposed to be lol
Actually, the Zython would have fitted really well into Space:1999 series 2. The Mattel figures were better than the ones we got over here in the UK... those commlocks and lasers look brilliant.
action set looks like yet another take on the Tardis. the Zython is awesome. basically an alien egyptian (reject extra from Dr. Who ). about Bergman action figure, maybe not popular, but as a kid I would have gotten. and disapointed when he disapeared season 2. Still, everyone knows the Zython action figure was an attempt to take over Earth that narrowly failed; due to the dissementation of covert defense instructions by Phillip K. Dick.
Hi..saw your video on the 1999 Zython. i was so happy to see this guy in a package and with a print on the back with him on. There is a lots of stories on this guy and i was so fortune to uptain 2 of him back in 2010 and again in 2015 but without a box .The red fork was miss but optain a copy of it on Ebay to complet them both. The guy i bourght one og the Zython from was from Germany and had him sins 1975 from a toystore where he worked at. My information on this guy is at 500 dolls produced in Germany for sale. The guy worked at a toystore in Germany back in the 1970 and had a cataloug to ordre from and he told me at the number on the side for ordering Zython was 500 items and the other 3 figures was 5000 in stock. I wanted to get my hands on the catalog but he did not have it. He could only remember it because he himself was a space 1999 fan wanted them for his collection. He undpacked them and had them standing for display for many years. I would hope someday to uptain him in a box but its almost impossible to get. Thanks for doing this video----love them. Best James
Zython figure looks cool! Looks like he belongs in an episode of the Outer Limits or Twilight Zone though. Might be cool to own just because of the glow in the dark head.
I only have two figures from space 1999 it's are the commander and his wife I never had the doctor I think I still have their utility belts but I don't have their blasters just some things to get lost in the shuffle but they were cool figures cuz I liked that serious cuz I'm a huge Doctor Who fan it's very similar in a little more scarier
Brick! I'd never seen you til the Mego video hey man I'm a straight guyBUT you are a great looking dude kinda reminded me of a Young Clancy Brown lol MrCrabs lol
Disculpa no comentar en inglés. Pero las imágenes que veo en tus review son muy interesantes la verdad aunque no tengo muchas figuras de mego vintage e conseguido algunas reediciones de la marca MEGO
The Sunshine Family?!? That's a damn cult!

Yeah, I make the same assertions in my Mego Walton video. They're creepy AF.
"I'll read the text on this ad." ... Not out loud, mind you. Just quietly to myself.
Yeah, for some reason that track got muted, I'm trying to fix it in post but yeah, grrrrrr
@@BrickMantooth I wish it was intentional. That would have been hilarious!
I thought maybe it was translated in print
@@MonsterGrove i added it to the description until i fix it.
@@BrickMantooth It has been a year. I am dying to know what the ad text says!
I really miss my green metal Dinky Eagle Transporter.
Hard to see how the Space 1999 line could compete with Big Jim - spindly middle-aged dolls vs. dynamic action heroes.

I love that show. And had the three main dolls

muchas gracias por decir eso.
Es Nocton?
How much does he want for it ?
I own one originally packed. Just saying.
Nice!
Why didn't Alan Carter ever get an Action Figure? He was a Much Cooler Character than Dr. Bergman.
