When I was a kid I had the Eagle 1 playset. I was always very impressed with the sculpts of the heads as well. I used to watch any Jerry Anderson shows I could find here in the states but Space 1999 was my favorite of Andersons. Was always a bit disappointed that Bergman was missing from Season 2. As an adult I understand why, but as a kid I was always like "Where did he go?" "The moon Base Alpha isn't that big a place" Truth be told as a Kid I had a crush on Sandra and Maya.
Hi from over the pond, as a child from this era, I watched all the Gerry Anderson tv progs , your collection is really fantastic. Just found your stream.
That's a nice collection. I've got some of the more modern Space 1999 figures.
I've seen those!
Honestly, the Commander Koenig packaging looks great for its age. Not really damaged at all. To think this show came out two years before Star Wars.
It was a very innovative show for the time.

I missed Bergman's absence from the second season too...
I watched all those Space 1999 episodes when I was a kid.... and couldn't tell you the first thing about it.
Wow that's a steal for that price lol Thanks for sharing David
Cool looking set of figures. I never saw the show. The art has a Lost in Space aesthetic to it.

Gerry Anderson was a genius. I have all his Supermarianation shows on disc.
I remember the show and playing with the toys as a kid, so cool
It was a great show.
That is a cool set....I think I have seen some of these on Analog Toys as Tony is a huge Palitoy collector. Have a great day.
He probably does have some of the Palitoy versions.
That package art is so good.
It's very well done!
The Mattel Eagle one is arguably the best Star ship Playset of the 70’s..As a kid i always used it as the Rebel Blockaid runner from the 1st Star Wars
I remember getting that for Christmas and I loved it that bought back so many memories for me ty
I would have loved to get these for Christmas!
I, in fact, DID NOT know Family Dollar went that far back. I don't recall seeing any here in MD till late 80's.
First store was in 1959, started expanding locations in 1961.
They just reused the sunshine family bodies, mork and Mindy are also on these bodies, such crappy bodies
They used them a few times.
the eagle its just beautiful i have an eagle my self ...also missing some one helmet and weapons !!
It's tough to find complete.
Great set, Just wish didn't use those sunshine family bodies for the figures!
They went cheap with the 9 inch figures.
There’s 6 inch and 3.75 inch scale figures now available for this show (6 inch is a bit pricey) one figures comes with a buggy
I've seen those.
@@OpenByChance you going to get them?
