    Finally I can compete with Patek on something, I too have a in-house cookie manufacture.

    A temple where every watch lover must go in life at least once. Absolutely mesmerizing. The beauty is everywhere. From the colors of curtains and showcases to the elegant luxury and cozy atmosphere. Everything exudes history, passion and technique. I know now that I must go there in my life. Your channel is a must for anyone that loves horology.

    I pushed the door of Paris salon a couple years back and I have to say they were extremely welcoming even if it is sadly out of my budget. It was a great experience

      Hahaha. I just caught that. I would say that was probably just a result of English not being his first language. But when I tried on a Sky Moon Tourbillion I had 2 guards over me like a hawk and I was wearing a rose gold AP. I know $60k isn’t $1.5m+

    • @BeckVMH
      @BeckVMH 5 лет назад +1

      Gunter Walker ... yes, I also suspect that was a language issue. My impression was that he meant “everyone ... is most welcome.”

    As long as I remember I was always very well welcomed in PP Paris salon. Top notch service with many books, documents etc..in spite I am absolutely not a rich person or a deep wallet.

    I am a working man in accounting in Genèva. First time I went to the salon in Patek I was very well received by a youger personne. It was 4 years a go and I was asking for the Nautilus list. I decided to wait a bit before coming back 3 years after. I was not received as well as previously. Last time was a few days ago by the same personne at my 2nd visit.
    Of course they are polite and nice but they have a way to size you up quickly if you have the money to buy cash any Patek and if you havent not purchased a watch or more they try to get you out of the store as quickly as possible.
    If you know Patek Price and you are not in the 1% club and old customer that spent minimum CHF 100 000.- you dont feel to be part of the Patek family !

    I had the opportunity to know Mr. Cremers as the director of the Emeraude boutique in Lausanne, where I used to be a customer when I lived near Lausanne, always warm welcomed and very well counselled! and I am sure I shall buy another watch when conditions will allow me to do so! I own a Jaeger-Lecoultre Odysseus moon phase, a IWC Calatrava which belonged to my grand-father and a Tissot le Locle.

    Very exquisite taste Marc, I too have this Patek Nautilus annual calendar as one of my "all time Dream watches". I think the gray dial is my favorite of the two. I have actually fell in love also with the Aquanaut on bracelet . So here begins the dilemma which one to buy? If I'd go with the Aquanaut then quite possibly I could make it happen on my 40th birthday in June . I would need a few additional years before I can pull of a Annual calendar Nautilus . The best watch program on utube in my opinion. So congratulations to you Marc, have a Merry Christmas and healthy/prosperous New year fantastic channel Godspeed~

    • @shafserious2805

      Peter K Aquanaut vs nautilus. Personally the aquanaut appeals to me because of its different materials... when you have too many steel pieces a mix material watch adds dimension to a collection i guess. A long way to go before i make my decision.

    Good pick on the nautilus. My favorite Patek similar to Royal Oak, which of course my dream watch.

    This was my first place to visit in Geneva last may where I met u Marc out of a sudden on the street. So talking about ur wish list.... now seriously u r an important added value to watchmaking industry, these brands should give "temporary " courtesy watches to wear , test ,feel and talk about....after all it's been 5 years for watchesTV and ur doing way better job than "brand ambassador" at bringing this aging industry back to life, the only way for ppl to pay more than 200$ for a watch is to actually love the craft and simply pay for the art of it not to show them time. This industry forgot the quarts era and doesn't seem to fully realize how bad this digital era will mess them up.
