    The problem is everyone keeps telling him his regular seasons don’t matter. Everyone says his mvp wasn’t deserved. They call him selfish for playing hard in the regular season.

      Answer me this question.... Has Joel ever put himself in the best shape possible to play as much as he can for an entire season?

    • @charlesmclemore5321
      @charlesmclemore5321 4 дня назад

      @bigshaq12 hard to say, since most off seasons he is rehabbing from lower extremity injuries. On the rare occasion he was able to spend his entire off season in shape, he has come in in incredible shape. He was injured toward the end of the season in those years. It's been unfortunate. In those instances, he has fallen out of basketball shape. He is a player who improves his game EVERY offseason. He obviously works hard at it. The narrative doesn't make sense when you can literally SEE what has happened during his career.

    • @jpethereal
      @jpethereal 3 дня назад

      Not really. He realized he won't win any individual awards because of the 65 game requirement. It is the most realistic goal to focus on playoff success.

    Intentionally sitting out games isn't cool. If you can be okay with getting 40-50 million dollars a year, then your body has to be ok with the lasting repercussions. That or retire early. Or....play restricted minutes a season. You're intentionally gonna skip at least 15 games of back to backs. A way to get to a title is having a very good record and getting the top 2 best records to better your chances to get the championship. So, let's say he does rest those back to backs and yet again chokes in the playoffs? Then how do you justify continuing to do that if it didn't result in a title or even a conference championship?

    BD said it all!!!! In order to be A CHAMPION you Have To Have A Champion MENTALITY!!!!! Embiid is MENTALLY SOFT a nd doesn't know himself. ie......Before he wanted to emulate "Dream", then it was "MAMBA", then he's on the perimeter playing against and wanting tobbe Tatum. Then he's Curry. Finally "Beard" came to the team and he's out there practicing and Emulating Harden's signature moves!!!! Embiid is A follower and he's LOST!!!!!! No self awareness bball wise. He's the biggest man in the League, be DOMINANT! Be A Bully!!!!!

    If joel cared about winning the way he says he does then he would try to play as many games as possible but on a minutes restriction. Instead he would rather sit out half the year so that in the games he does play, he averages 30+ ppg.

      You HAVE TO PLAY in order to establish cohesion!!! Joel is Only concerned with numbers and trying to make it seems as if he's so concerned and willing to donit at all costs in the name of WINNING. He plays against NYK injured.......i. orser to have AN EXCUSE when SIXEES LOSE!!!!! It's the SAME THING OVER & OVER!!! Bot playing in the regular, will not guarantee you that you won't get injured during the playoffs. It almost increases the chances of you getting hurt, because your body is NOT conditioned PROPERLY!!!!!! A lot of his injuries have been freaky accidents

    I just hope you have time to read this brief: Regarding the Game with the Clippers...One noticed that the game was fairly even until Warriors put in the second TEAM...This is where the Break down began...DISTRACTION lost momentum... with Stephen Curry's second ankle twist ...The Clippers slipped their second team into the game as a counter to the Warriors, This move caused the warriors to now realize their Exhaustion from Back to Back wins and the Departure of Curry from the Game ,,, It was as though the Warriors12 man system was being exposed...But No not really ... They just Relaxed and this is what gave the Clippers the Go to Man just Handle the Warriors 2nd TEAM ,,, it was heart breaking but resilience is the BRASS of WARRIORs ,,,"Dre" Lead them in to Foreign Territory Beat Every Body on their Home court...and Bro...Time to Hit a Few 3's...I know one can do it!...Truthfully I don't believe Steve Kerr is going to let that happen again, the second TEAM was caught Off Guard ,,, and the Clippers took advantage of the Moment!...

    Do fans matter to the nba players nowadays cause fans save up to see there fav player possible once a year when there team comes to there home town only for the star player to be sitting out for load management. There wouldn’t be a league without the fans. If the players want to sit out as much as they do they should get the same treatment as Ben Simmons when he was in Philly or take a huge payout from the 60 plus million he earns a season. Players who miss games who aren’t injured shouldn’t be paid that money should go to charity or the wnba

    Saying it is dumb and the league should take action. That's like a regular person saying in front of the office "I'm just not going to work Wednesdays anymore". His work has every right to come back and say 'if it's your scheduled day, you are' and to take disciplinary action if he still refuses. And Chuck was 100% right, it's not as if Embiid or any NBA player has a particularly difficult job. Yes, there's a lot of pressure, but try coming and doing a 14 hour shift with me in the Emergency Department sometime. Have some crazy person try to throw feces at you, or try to bite you, a drunk try to punch you in the face and then find a firearm in one of your patient's backpacks. That's before we talk about the physical strain of running around, lifting patients/equipment/etc. Plus the stress of knowing that if you make a mistake someone could die and you could get sued.
    Take all that and then imagine that after working some OT there, I get enough money to take my kid to a basketball game to see his favorite player and his favorite player isn't playing...not because he's injured but because he just doesn't feel like it. That's awful for business and a disservice to fans. Of course, if you're genuinely injured then by all means sit out and rest, get healthy. But saying you're not going to play another back-to-back game for your entire career isn't injury/load management, it's being a lazy POS who doesn't want to work.

      Tatum got the easiest ring of all time. I wanna see him win a ring against this healthy GSW team. Then maybe we would respect him, but that ring was handed to him. Who did they really compete against though. Celtics never even played against the real greats, because they had a better team one year after a decade. Curry beat them with an average ass team. He beat who an unhealthy Miami team? I don't even remember who they played, that's how corny that finals was....
