Don't they fix and return the watch? OR did You not want it back? I am looking to purchase one but only if they can fix such qc issues are return the repaired watch under warranty. Since i am in Canada a refund wont include the High Custom Duty and Taxes collected at the border, so Return for Refund is not an option for me :(
@@RohanKalyanpur I am sure they will take care of you if any issues arise. They will repair or maybe send you another model. At the time too many watches had the same issue I was not confident I would receive one without an issue. Now 1 year later and countless models sold and different variants I am sure Traska no longer has this issue.
I am over the moon with my carbon black dial Venturer! Every detail is spot on, and sizing took about 5 minutes. As a bonus the movement is doing around +2 spd. It really has me tempted to sell my entire collection and use this as my one do all piece 🤔
My mint dial Venturer came with an over brushed bracelet. Looks like it was refinished after years of wear. Rounded out edges with all sharpness gone. I have the version 2 freediver and that bracelet is definitely perfect. Furthermore the dial and case is perfecto... I still love it tho. It's a keeper!
Happy to hear yours is a keeper. Seems like a lot of people have minor qc issues. Yours is the first I hear about a bracelet. I would still reach out to see what they can do.
Those qc risks are a little alarming Really really nice watches, I love the diashock coating to my spb143 and consider that a huge plus Little details like the brushed bezel with the polished chamfer are great. I have watches with the bezel polished and don’t really like the reflection it can give from a bright source of light as it obstructs the view of the dial. It’s a small thing but it’s a gripe I always have and the design itself addresses that here in an elegant way When time comes to order I’ll email them first asking if I can get one that’s been double checked before shipping
I’ve had the exact same QC issues and they also accepted to refund. Considering to replace my Venturer with the new Venturer GMT… a few more days to think. Traska is really doing some cool stuff hope the QC is better this time.
Alignment is good and sizing was simple. Used the proper sized screwdriver, removed a link and moved another to the other end of the bracelet for my desired fit. I am very happy with it and it gets the majority of my wrist time now. Really liking the smaller/slimmer size.
The Woodland green commuter is the one I want. If you don't mind me asking, is the green a unique color when you see it in person? All the videos on RUclips are the other colors.
Yes it is a beautiful dial! This colorway is actually a remake of the Rolex 34mm green dial.....take a look online for more pics of the Rolex it is almost identical. Definitely a keeper.
@@jeffwenger5610 thank you so much for the response! The Olive Rolex is a exactly why i like the woodland green. I'm waiting to see Traska's up coming release. Thanks again.
My steel blue venturer has minor issues. Date wheel slightly off centred and screws are in way too tight so stripped the head on one. All indices applied perfectly though. Overall really happy with the watch, its a gorgeous piece and the dimensions are just perfect.
I felt the same way! Dimensions and idea are perfect but dang the date alignment and 12oclock indices did it for me. If it was a sub $300 watch no issue overlooking those issues but at $600 it’s a bit steep. You were able to size fine or you need links? I’m assuming your keeping it?
@Steve F Watches yeah was fine, just removed other links either side of the stuck one. The date wheel annoys me slightly but not off to the extent yours was so I'll live with it. I'm in the UK so feel returning for exchange would be more hassle than its worth. Might have a look at adjusting it myself down the line but will accept it for now.

Why would anybody buy these? I just dont get it , with all the incredible micro brands out there. Just take Hamilton like you said , rock solid Swiss movements with 80hr power reserve and great fit and finish.
Goddamnit, just ordered a 34mm Commuter and didn't know there were any issues. At least there is no space between the markers on the 12 and no rate window, so less chances to f it up. 😅 Still love my first gen Freediver, no problems there.
I had to return not one but two commuters for misaligned logos then just got a refund. Gonna buy the new compressor because the brand is great besides the qc issues.
I prefer automatics with no complications -- even dates. I don't use any of my autos often enough, so I'm always have to reset them. No date is one less thing to worry about. I have the Traska Summiteer (V2) in black. No QC issues so far. Great value.

I have 2 commuters, both are mint and perfect QC wise.
I just returned my Venturer 2 due to a few indices misaligning with the printer markers. Too bad.

Because they are great watches.
Thats a shame that they have these QC issues, really nice watches tbh. Traska fix this asap and you will have a new buyer!
Agreed! Unfortunate the price hike + qc issues.
I'll buy one even with qc issues. Lmk if you want to sell 🤣 still waiting for them to become available again

Too bad, won't order any traska then, as a QC after being taxed in Europe become a new level of a hassle, compared to if its still over in The States.
