Glad to see the Green Lane association is still going strong back home I the UK.. I am moving back to the UK with my Canadian family I will be joining as I want to get out in the countryside and show them the UK most people don't see
Its sad that you let the best trails get permanently closed I was up in bets y coed and all the trails are closed on extended 18 months " temporary closures " which are the thin of the wedge to permanent closure
Hi, outside Greater London there are lanes in all counties. The South East certainly has its fair share :) We have regional and county groups on Facebook you can join, and reps in each county too
I think what you do is a good thing but… I like a bit of green landing. I’m a responsible driver/4x4 owner. I was out walking in the Yorkshire Dales between Xmas and the new year. I encountered 3 convoys of 8 and 10+ vehicles, most jacked with tyres and snorkels etc. plenty of ‘one life, live it’ stickers too. That does my head in. That doesn’t do much for our cause and makes me resent the scene.
Guys, I'd love to join GLAS but it seems a real rigmarole. Its not like speaking to someone on the phone and giving all the details they require but I get so far on the website then it doesn't allow me to get any further. Im not a tech wiz and am far from a tech illiterate but if there is a phone number I could call then it would be most appreciated. I only have an AWD car but would keep up with most 4x4's. Any advice welcome
Newbie here, looking forward to using TW2. Loving what you guys are doing! Keep it up!
