Peter, watching this with tears in my eyes, I lost my father 18 months ago and I would give anything to have been able too share a special moment like this with him. The smile on your dad's face was amazing. Cherish these moments. Thank you for sharing
If I may. This really hits home for me. My father was a lifelong golfer. I never showed any interest. I was a Skate punk. Art nerd etc. never showed any interest. He passed away a few years ago. And when I was cleaning some of his things out of the garage. There was his clubs... I couldn’t bring myself to throw away or donate them. So I took them to the local range instead. I am now 100 percent a golfer. It’s all I think about. Talk about. Sometimes I just wish this had happened earlier. To have shared this experience with him. To be a able to talk about golf with him. Play golf with him. Just have that connection. So this is just so incredibly beautiful. Just magical my friend. Magical.
Peter this was the best video on here. The smiles on your Dad’s face was priceless. Your a lucky man to be able to give your Dad such a special day. Your a great son. Keep up the great work my friend.
Pete. What you put together here is the meaning and reason of golf! Your father is a lucky man, you are a lucky man and golf is lucky so have you both playing the sport! And St. Andrew's had 2 fantastic gentlemen and players on there course that day and should feel honored! You are a amazing man, and your father Is fantastic! Tell him to keep holding that finish! Jay M.
Oh Peter, to treat your Dad with a gift like that.... not just you --- but what it meant for him!!! Like many, I watch with tears. My Dad and I got to golf a bit some yrs ago and totally enjoyed it. Remembering the 1st time he'd taken me; in my late teens ... I hated it. 1st swing, I remember vividly -- I missed and couldn't hit the ball straight; he laughed but he really wanted me to enjoy a sport that he did, especially earlier in his life. I didn't "get" the game -- and looking back to that time, it kinda hurt his feelings. Later in my thirties, we started again with my much improved appreciation for the game!!! I grew up playing baseball -- so that explains my unsuccessful endeavor early on. I tell this story in remembrance of Dad who passed in early March......... cherish these times Peter, for they are PRICELESS!!! Nice job my friend, nice job!
Genuinely think this is the best golf video ive watched on the channel. Your dad's smile all the way round is enough to make anybody want to go and play golf.
Must of been emotional that pal must be amazing to be able to treat your old man to something like that 👌 memories to last a life time brilliant stuff 👍⛳🏌️♂️
WOW!!!!! Your father raised a great son. That is bigger than any win you will ever have on your pro journey. Great memories and well done. The joy in your father's eyes and smile was not because of the course.
A wonderful day for you and your father Peter. The smile on your Dad's face the entire day was priceless. It reminds me of many a day fishing on the river, or hunting game with my father when I was younger. He passed on 19 years ago today. Your video of you and your father at St. Andrews is perfect timing for me personally. It reminded me to spend the day with a smile on my face remembering those great times with my Dad instead of focusing on how much I miss him. God Bless and thank you.
Played it three times nearly a decade ago. Real psychological pressure on the first tee. The fairway is so wide it’s the burn you should worried about. It’s never diver unless into a strong wind. I played 5w every day and had no more than 9i or PW into the green. Managed a net 64 on the first day. Hiring a caddie is a must. Tip generously. I had the same caddie all three days. Added so much in terms of lines off tees and club selection. He like the old course was steeped in history. Plenty of memorable anecdotes.
These are the moments that you will never forget is spending time with your dad. The world needs more of stuff like that fathers and sons spending time together. Thank you for sharing.
Watched this with a lump in my throat, my dad has passed and I'll never be able to share times like this with him again. Well done to you for doing this, I'm sure your Dad is proud of you for all you've achieved and for creating these special shared memories. you're a good man.
What a brilliant surprise for your Dad. Played there last year and as your Dad says, you can’t stop smiling all the way round. It is like a really nice soup, followed by apple crumble and custard!
What a video Peter, I took up golf 3 years ago because my dad started playing so we could play a competitive sport together. Seeing you and your dad play like this reminds me so much of the importance of family and just how the sport golf can bring people together. Kudos sir, I hope me and my father can one day enjoy the same experience. Keep doing what your doing mate, love the content, love the personalities. Bang tidy.
Beautiful Pete. Couldn't love this video more than I do already. This was special to watch, last tee when your dad kept his right foot back and held his finish just screamed how much fun he was having. Good for you buddy. And good for your father. Thanks for sharing
Awesome video Pete. The smile on your Dads face all the way around the course is just priceless. Precious memories captured forever. Enjoy every moment with your Dad on the course as sadly my rounds of golf with my Dad ended twenty years ago and not a game goes by without me wishing he was still playing the game with me. Keep producing the videos. Thanks.
Pete it’s the most beautiful video. My father just passed away few months ago. He loved playing golf and he asked me to play with him but I wasn’t a big fan of golf back then. I started picking golf up again and enjoying it about the same time he diagnosed his illness and I nvr hv the chance again to play a round with him. Treasure the time with ur love ones.
Pete, thanks for sharing this moment with your Pop with us. To be honest I started crying . Remembering times I spent with my dad. Looks like he enjoyed himself and everyone had a great time.
I'm at a loss for words. Very nice of you to get you and most importantly your dad together at that course. Realy cool. Thanks for letting all of us in on your dad's day.
Wonderful Peter .....My favorite Video. I have been following you for a long time from here in Bangkok. so Happy for your success on RUclips. Speak Again.
I'm one year late. Great to see you still having your dad around mate. I lost mine 3 years ago. I'm now having my own kids and I usually take my 15 year old son (He has 2 older brothers, all grownups) to a weekend golf giving each other trash talk about how poor we play golf. The weekend is always something to look forward to as it's really the only time I get to spend quality time with my son.
Of all the time I’ve spent playing golf, the best times are with my dad. Such an awesome thing you did for him by taking him to play the old course! Great videography too! Favorite video you’ve done
Pete, this video has to be the best one I have seen in youre chanel. To give youre dad such a day like that you will never forget it and youre dad will always have it in his hart
Absolutely loved this video, the pure joy on your auld mans face was awesome. I like many others wish that mine was still around to enjoy such moments so treasure every one mate. I’m 51 now and St Andrews old is still on my bucket list. Played the Castle last year. Green Highland Hills in the middle was perfect for the setting and made the video for me. Keep up the good work Peter love watching your adventures.
Such memories. My wife and I drove up from London to St Andrews on Christmas Day 2008. Nobody on the road at all so very pleasant drive. Played Duke's on Boxing day and then the Old Course in the 27th. Perfect weather both days and I was able to join a couple of locals on the Old Course who managed to help me avoid most of the trouble. Can't forget stopping at the coffee hut after the 9th where the chap automatically added whiskey (Good on ya mate). Memorable drive over the buildings on the Road Hole and a photo with my wife on Swilcan Bridge. Back home in New Zealand now with kids so I expect that may be the highlight of my golfing life
Hate videos like this because they remind me of something I will never have with my dad ever again, love videos like this because of the times I spent with my dad on the golf course, playing a round with your mates is good fun but playing with your father is special
Also wanted to say lost my dad in my 20's he wasn't into sport like my brother and I but doing something so nice for your dad to remember forever made me think of him your dad was so chuffed it was good to see
Brilliant Pete, to be able to surprise and share an experience with your dad on this scale is worth everything. your dad looked so happy, job well done mate
You're Dad is a sweetheart! That was an awesome experience for the both of you. I wish I could bring my Dad to Scotland to play St Andrews. Very SPECIAL!
What a day that must have been, got to play their next year. I've been their but not played but can honestly say one of my top 1 golf days. Standing by the 17 green, chilled my blood then photograph on swilkin bridge and realising I'm standing where every golfer of note has stood I had a smile like a grand piano
Hey Pete! Im amazed that I havent watched this video until today but this was awesome! My dad has limited mobility after a car accident that broke his neck a few years back, so he has slowed down quite a bit. I would love to do something like this with him, so watching this really brought on some emotions for me. I am glad you guys had such an awesome trip and you brought that smile to your dads face! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Pete, thank you for taking us along. Your dads face must be hurting from smiling so much. I know you have busted your butt to put out content but you are still a lucky bloke
What a great surprise for your dad! I got to visit St. Andrews last year as a day excursion from a cruise ship. Not enough time for a round of golf. however. Went to the last day of The Open at Carnoustie the following day, so had a great golfing experience. I loved the video and the music was a nice touch. You almost came out of your shoes on your Road Hole tee shot. Reminded me of myself!! Can't wait to do a Scottish golf trip before I'm too old. Cheers!!
I wish I could have a day with my dad like this. But unfortunately he was deported before I got into golf and haven’t seen him all that much ever since. Job well done Peter! Easily one of my favorite vids that I can watch over and over again. Days with family like these are ones we should cherish forever 👍🏽

Johnathon Andrew well said Johnathon know what you mean.
Well said mate. I lost my dad over 10 years ago, and still can't ever face visiting the place.
I lost mine 3 years ago. I nearly teamed up watching them have so much fun together. So awesome.
I too wish I had done something like this for my dad, departed 5 years now. Love you always.

Your dad holding a Seve pose after his drive on the first.....and his smile all the way round says it all. Brownie points for Finch junior!!
Heartwarming....these are the moments you live for. The smiles on your Dad's face tell the whole story. Well done.
Pete.
