That ending on the green is why I love golf so much - both guys rooting for eachother and celebrating when they make puts. Another class video Rick, hats off.
Brilliant. Laughed my head off when I saw Pete retrieving his ball from the Barry burn. Excellent stuff. I'll have a couple of quid on Rose, Rahm and Fowler.
Rick.. I’d just like to thank you for making videos that can help a golfer improve his game. I started to watch your videos at the beginning of the golf season in the US around March and my handicap has dropped by 15 strokes, thanks to the videos your make. Your videos are very easy to understand and I think you are a great teacher. Keep up the great work!
Whoever edits these open videos does a phenomenal job, kudos to them. Love the videos guys, been watching for ages now since the trafford days. Keep up the great content!
Despite the internet and mobile phones, walkie talkies are still so much fun ;) Didn't you do a similar cross country challenge with Piers and Andy once?
Hi Rick, I started playing golf again last year having not played for 20 years. Your videos have taken 20 shots off an average round for me - and got me hitting irons better than ever. I hope you get to 2 million subscribers - your efforts deserve double that! Thanks for all the entertainment and making golf enjoyable!
Nice 9. I'll be teeing off the Bethpage Black Wednesday hoping not to make a 9 on any hole. Still have an opening in the group if you and Finch want to join us.
Me and my buds have done something of the same over the years, on one end of the course we use two par fours and make them into a par 6. Then on the other end of the course there are two par fours and a par 3 somewhat in line with each other, and this we make a par 9 of them. of course this works well in the early spring and late fall when the course is not a crowed, but much fun. Many quarters are won and lost.
my club holds an annual late Oct. "Cross Country Tourney" like this - frustrating, and FUN! this year it took guys used to playing the course 3-4 times per week in about 3 hours SIX hours to finish the 18 hole layout..
Definitely one of my favorites you and Pete have done... breaking free from the expected routines and rules to capture something essential about the game of golf, at Carnoustie no less.
This is exactly the kind of thing my brothers and I do. For example, we used to play golf in a rarely used campground (almost never had any campers even on weekends) and we'd have to bounce the ball off of the picnic tables for a score. The rough was always brutal and the pavement made for some rather long roll outs. Loads of fun.
Was lucky enough to see the whole open as my brother lives right next to the carnoustie course and have started playing again since, love the par 10 challenge wicked vid.
That was an awesome watch I'm addicted to watching these two play together but that was probably my favourite vid so far. I actually thought Pete did really well considering his first shot went in the water and got lost. I thought Rick was on track for an eagle to be honest couldn't quite nail that 7th shot with the 6 iron. The finish from both was awesome great putting I gave a first pump for both. I love these par 10 videos Pete and Rick I would love to see you guys do a long distance hole on a course you both know well! Thanks for the video again really enjoyed it.
Just watched this and it amused me heaps! Two blokes, obviously good mates having a laugh amid some reasonably good golf. When my mate from Melbourne is allowed to travel to Thailand we will do something similar, probably later in the day than you guys and alcohol might well be involved. Cheers Stuart
Great video Rick! Played the champ last night before it closes to us mere mortals! Can’t wait to see the pros tee it up at Carnasty! Loving the content! 🏌️♂️
Great video. I used your guide to hitting an iron video and I added about 10-20 yards on my swing and came the closest I ever had to hitting a hole and one leaving myself with a foot left.

BEEF (I hope haha) and no unfortunately not! :(
Love your videos
Keep up the good work
Fowler, the guy just needs to get off to some better starts.
Rosie
I wouldn't mind seeing Justin rose win, and I wish I could but I cant
I scored a 9 once. Unfortunately it was on a Par 4 and was my best hole of the day.
Ha ha losers I shoot a 36 then i go to hole 4
My worst was 15 on the first hole. Hit about 4 trees and 2 3 footers. It was a par 4
I got 141 on a par 70
Did that today
I usually hit a thousand I honestly don’t keep track because I’m trash ☹️☹️☹️😢😢
This is my average par 5...chase the ball about 1500yards across multiple holes hoping to get a 10
word..
Glad to hear it's not only me 😭
Considering he literally went backwards and hit it in the water, I'm impressed Peter saved par.
I'm more suspicious than impressed.
@@QuasiELVIS Yea look where he chipped the ball to then look where he putted from lmao, he had 3x longer of a put than that b.s.
Spoiler Alert!
Yeah they fluffed those scores a little bit
Never let me navigate 😂awesome vid Rick! Loved these challenges and Carnoustie, it's going to be one hell of an Open!
Never let me navigate 😂awesome vid Rick! Loved these challenges and Carnoustie, it's going to be one hell of an Open!
Having watched you and Rick on many VLogs my money was always on Rick as his game is well suited to spending most of his time in the rough ;)
Pete your not lost you're strategically misplaced
Yeah pete
Great job guys! Carnoustie is just up the road from me and I can attest, it is hell in golf course form 😎
I actually aced this par 10 when I played
When Top Gear meets Golf.
Haha spot on my friend!
Ambitious but rubbish
That ending on the green is why I love golf so much - both guys rooting for eachother and celebrating when they make puts. Another class video Rick, hats off.
Take a shot everytime he says "I've ripped that" lol
Ive pissed myself
Its been a year and still not sober
What an enjoyable video to watch-just two guys out having fun playing the most frustrating game on earth.
"This is most upsetting news." Lol so British.
Its a pity that the most upsetting news aren't about the ban of tea
"Yeah? Over." Hilarious.
Bri ish
love the little outro with rick and pete walking off into the cloudy sunset. how sweet.

Rick,
Your videos have epically helped my golf game. I finally broke 90 today. Thanks for all the great content.
Whoever edits these open videos does a phenomenal job, kudos to them. Love the videos guys, been watching for ages now since the trafford days. Keep up the great content!
First time a golf course water fountain has ever worked
on a crappy rainy, cold windy day - watching Rick play in those conditions is EASILY as fun as playing myself.
Oh man. You guys should have done a shot track!! So we could follow the progress of the balls, or at least a full overview at the end.
Absolutely one of the best golf videos I have ever watched! What fun! MORE like this, please.
Despite the internet and mobile phones, walkie talkies are still so much fun ;)

My favourite video this year! Please do another Par-10 challenge!!!
You and Pete are solely responsible for my improvement and playing so much great golf so a massive thank you to the both of you
Nice 9. I'll be teeing off the Bethpage Black Wednesday hoping not to make a 9 on any hole. Still have an opening in the group if you and Finch want to join us.
This is by far my favourite golf video I watched in a long time! Looks fun! Great job guys!
*Personally I really like the idea of doing these challenges, it's an amazing video !!!*
This looks amazing. That wind was insane! Two great putts to finish off a great vlog. Keep it up Rick love what you guys are doing.

Great challenge and watching you 2 play golf is infectious. Competitive but pulling each other along when it gets tough. Fab stuff.
This was epic, impressed that Pete managed a 10 after that detour.
He cheated
Great video Rick so good to see two mates having so much fun
Rick: Where you?
Peter: I’m on the 15th hole
Rick: I’m on the 15th hole
Peter: Ahhhh
Then Rick asks Peter which way is back 😂
First I thougt it was a joke, but not.
I didn't stop smiling from the beginning to the end of this video, two great guys really enjoying themselves and playing good golf, fantastic stuff
A local club hosts a "backwards round" once a year where you play each hole from green to tee. Small elevated tee boxes make for tough "greens!"
That sounds sick. I'd probably play worse if not the same but still sounds sweet.
Wouldn't they fuck up the greens by driving off them?
@@QuasiELVIS Maybe they do it the last week before they close ?
How do you putt on a tee box? Do they cut it like a green a put a hole?
@@rickt9569 Actually, they make temp greens next to the tee boxes.
Great video! Nice to see two mates having a good laugh and creating fantastic content.
you guys twirl your clubs almost as well as you hit them...
Great poses too.
One of the most enjoyable videos you have ever made. Well done! You guys were smashing those 3 woods like I smash the like button on all your videos.
Brilliant video guys. Looks like a lot of fun .. 👌
To win the open - Tiger Woods 🙏🙏🙏
And yes !! Definitely going 😎
Loved the par ten Challenge. Congratulations on your birdy
Must have been such a pain to film and edit this!

Great seeing you back to your best Rick... always enjoy yours and Petes collaborations, perfect partnership👌🏼
This was fun to watch. Me and my friends make up holes on our local course. Its fun and creative.
You guys still scored better than Sergio with his 13 at the Masters
crazy... love the experimental approach to golf. Keep the creative videos coming!
How many 3 woods did you both rip in this video 😂
One of my favorite videos you’ve ever done. That’s was awesome.
5:32 "You can't be on 15th cuz I'm on 15th"
rick good editing and golf with nobody but yourselves and honesty to keep score
Next time a GPS for Peter!!!
Was lucky enough to see the whole open as my brother lives right next to the carnoustie course and have started playing again since, love the par 10 challenge wicked vid.
Why was going through the middle not an option?
There's another golf course that meanders through and around the championship course, I think they made a rule to stick to the main course.
This was a lot of fun to watch! You guys are great!
What a killer challenge! Would love to see a few real tour pros try this!!
Brilliant best birdie 9 I've seen, might do this type of thing at my course when I'm on my own. Great video guys.
Second time I’ve watched this ✌️👍
Hats off to you guys. To shoot anywhere near par in that cold and wind is amazing.
Where did you guys buy the walkie-talkies?
Toys r us
@@QuasiELVIS Where did they buy a time machine to get to a Toys r us?
@@ronjones-6977 I dunno man, whatever the equivalent is now then.
EPIC!!!!! 😂 & great choice of music at the start with Pete - very funny!
Something isn’t right, did I hear birdie and 9 in the same sentence?🧐😂
Love watching these two worlds come together. Fan of both channels
Hatton for the win. I'll be playing st Andrews that weekend as a gift from my good lady

Thanks for the video again really enjoyed it.
Pete is hilarious.
Shot 7 - "4 shots to get my par" he cheated
That looked fun! Way to recover from that rough tee shot Pete!
I lost so many balls just watching this...
Greetings from Ontario, Canada..........excellent video, always great to see you guys together.
I’ve taken more shots on a par 4.
Excellent video guys! Loved watching Pete get lost and trying to find the right path.
If I did that one i'd probably sadly get around 20-30 hits 😂
Just found this one.....great job...this should be a series. Play the same format at great courses everywhere.
CARNASTY
Carnoustie has to be one of the most challenging courses out there and you monstered it. Well done
Now I am not sadly, but i think ROSE will win The Open
Andreas Eriksson sadly mistaken
Probably my favourite Rick and Pete video! Class!
The no look hand shake at the start. Simply stunning.
Great to see you two together back on the course. Great play considering the weather.
I truly enjoyed watching that. You should do this more often. Kudos Rick and Peter!!
That is awesome guys! Playing Carnoustie is definitely on my bucket list.
That was great! I cheered when each putt dropped! Hard core carrying the clubs all that way… and back again.
So fun to watch the both of you in this type of challenge!
Now that was fun! Enjoyed it! You guys are crazy!
That was a soooo much fun to watch!
What a great idea and fabulous video. Thanks to the pair of you.
Yes!! These par 10s are my favourite vids so far.
Brilliant vid, enjoyed it, great to see something different for a change. Well done chaps.👍🏼👏
This vlog was class well done Rick. Pete unlucky a drop an then having gone slightly backwards you did really well to get a par
Great job Rick! You make some great vids. I’m busy watching them all!!
Bunker shot was large.. nice job.. and fantastic experience!
Great stuff. We used to play from the first tee to the 12th green at my home course growing up. Really fun.
Great video Rick! Played the champ last night before it closes to us mere mortals! Can’t wait to see the pros tee it up at Carnasty! Loving the content! 🏌️♂️
Loved the video! And it's Ricky Fowler's time to shine!!!
Absolutely awesome guys!!!! That looked like so much fun!!
Nice one gents! Great birdie Rick and what a Par by Pete after his early trouble!
maybe the most fun golf video I've seen. great job!
No better content than Rick and Pete on the course together!! Great viewing fellas!! 👍
Great video. I used your guide to hitting an iron video and I added about 10-20 yards on my swing and came the closest I ever had to hitting a hole and one leaving myself with a foot left.
That was Epic! These challenges are fantastic. Thank you, keep it up.
