Stunning video and documentary. The greatest golfer is a debate that will run forever. Nicklaus has it on results but Hogan's grit and determination to dig it out of the dirt certainly gives him a claim on the title. What would he have won if not stopped by the war and then physical restrictions following the accident when at his peak? Truly remarkable!

Thanks for the video Andy...it takes me back. It's 2007 and I followed In Hogan's footsteps on my trip to Scotland first playing Panmure, the Burnside, and finally three rounds on the big course. I also managed several rounds on Montrose 1562 Medal...special days indeed!

Another great video Andy. The history of these fantastic courses combined with your storytelling abilities which is the best I've ever heard makes for the most entertaining of all RUclips golf channels. Nothing else even comes close. Not to mention the camera work is phenomenal. I have enjoyed watching you grow this channel into what it is today.

Thank you for a Beautiful insight of those beautiful courses, Mr Hogan's is no doubt my favorite, just an Amazing life story for Mr Hogan's, anyway I don't know you except from your channel but I'd like to invite you to play a few courses in New York, when you stated it's like no other game because we can play the courses the Professional play, so if and when your in the states I'd like to take you on a journey we can start on Trumps courses to warm up then off to Bethpage Black and will End at Shinnecock country club, that's easiest to the Hardest I believe ,I've played them all before.im a Average Golfer by the way, 1 hole I look like I could be on the tour and the next hole is like I've never swung a golf club lol ! Anyway I'm sure you can get in touch with me thru this posting, it would be my pleasure, just from watching your videos and this channel I know your commitment towards the game and your heart are in the right places! Thanks again loved watching this look back in time! Keep it up really nice job! Honesty goes a long way!

Alasdair Lindsay Robertson, a very fine golfer, played with Hogan the first time he played Panmure. On the first hole, a short par 4, Hogan duck-hooked his tee shot behind the shed to the left of the first green. Hogan took a five, an uncharacteristic five.

Hogan is the greatest golfer over the age of 30, and likely would have won 90-100 tournaments if not for the accident, and losing two years to WWII. Bobby Jones and Woods the two greatest under 30 years. (Sorry Jack, it is what it is!)
