I had a incredipass that expired october 2022. Renewed as a new dvc member and bought sorcerer pass. Also purchased a sorcerer pass for my daughter as she just turned three years old. Sadly, we were unable to purchase a pass for my husband as he never had a pass to begin with - boo. :( Good news - we did not have to go to guest services to activate the sorcerer passes. Great tips! We pay for everything with our gift cards and redemption cards. Love to save where ever possible! I do transfer the balances from my gift cards on to one primary card since you can have up to $1000 per gift card. This makes things a little easier. I was also told we no longer need to go to guest services to use the new passes.
We've had FL resident annual passes for as long as I can remember. It's incredible the price increases, I miss the Silver pass. I usually just pay monthly, but am trying to use gift cards from Sam's and Target to pay this year.

Yes, you can use gift cards to purchase tickets/annual passes. The savings come by getting discounts on the gift cards themselves, which you can get through Target, Sam’s Club and other retailers.
On our last trip in December, we saved over $2000 on food and Merch purchases at WDW. Only one person in the party needs to have the AP. It made the AP cost negligible - or nothing

We do a similar thing. We also keep an eye for gift card deals through the year and apply them as credits to the DVC dues.

I was able to save more by buying them at Sam’s Club. Just in case you have one in your area, you may want to check.
Yes, Sam's Club often has a bigger discount, but we don't have Sam's Club where we live.

Our trick to saving money on annual passes is to not buy them. Wait, most people can’t get them anyway.
That’s true. We spend enough time at Disney each year that the APs are a MUCH better deal than buying regular park tickets, so it works for us.
