    well after everyone telling me no way it would come out without dropping the subframe, i find this video. great video man. got mine out in 5 and a half hours with plenty of goofing off and down time with coworkers. one guy was shaking his head at me when i told him im not going to drop the subframe with engine/trans underneath the car, but pull it out the front. then when i said im not even taking the wheels off he said theres no way its coming out that way. then he was surprised it came out so quick haha. i had to roll my car into a storage spot after the motor was pulled, so i didnt want to drop the subframe, just to put it back into a shell of a car just so i can roll it. i think putting it back in with the axles would be almost impossible, what do you think? im planning on pulling the axle with the engine out by just removing the nut and pulling them off. then install motor with no axles and after its all in, ill take the suspension apart a little to get the axles in. the axles were hanging me up coming out, so going in will be very hard i think.

    • @CIPGAS
      @CIPGAS  2 года назад +1

      That’s awesome man
      And yeah I would definitely remove the front axles to get it back in
      It’s possible to donut with them in place but you risk destroying the boots with your trans mounts. Or you can remove the mounts… lol

    Awesome video man! Only thing I noticed watching it was instead of using nylon straps for your engine, I would personally try to get your hands on some seat belts. They are much much stronger and you only have to use one layer, Ive pulled 6L v8 engines with just a single seat belt instead of chains. Again awesome video man!!! Doing an auto to manual conversion right now actually, on jack stands too, good times lol.

      Damn man sorry to hear this. That definitely blows! the best advice I can you is to use a bolt extractor like the one in the link below. You’ll have to tap it in with a hammer to get the best grip possible.

    Could you please send me what parts you used for your mishimoto oil cooler? I'm in the process of buying the same cooler and I'm not sure about hoses/fittings as well as fitment. I'm using SMICs so I could probably fit it in front of the rad?
    You're videos are incredibly helpful! Thank you for your hard work.
