  • Get ready to witness the ultimate automotive transformation as we delve into the extraordinary world of Martin Harp's engine swaps! We follow Martin's journey as he takes on not one, but two mind-blowing engine swaps that defy all expectations.
    V8 Twin Turbo Power Meets Manual Precision!
    Martin Harp, the visionary mastermind behind the audacious project of swapping a V8 4.0 twin-turbo engine from an Audi S7 into a B5 Audi S4. But that's not all - he's taken it to the next level by pairing it with a manual transmission, an incredible feat considering the 4.0T V8 engine was never offered with a manual gearbox from the factory. The symphony of power and control is mesmerizing, as the S4 roars to life with the heart of an S7 but the soul of a true enthusiast's manual dream.
    V10 Dominance Redefining Performance!
    But wait, there's more! Martin's obsession with pushing the boundaries doesn't stop there. Witness as he orchestrates an even more jaw-dropping transformation, transplanting a V10 engine into a different B5 Audi S4 chassis. The spine-tingling growl of the V10 echoes through the streets, delivering a surge of power that redefines what's possible in a classic Audi S4 body. The harmonious marriage of the V10's raw power with the precision of a manual transmission creates an exhilarating driving experience that's second to none.

These two builds right here are so unique. Absolutely love the fact that he kept the swaps within the same brand. That V10 is sick. Love the fact that it was rear wheel drive. I love the lack of screens everywhere inside. I really miss simple interiors on cars. The options out there are ridiculous, almost every new car I looked at had a bunch of screens in it. I like it when I don't have to worry about a computer glitch taking out my gauge cluster or my infotainment system taking a crap and I can't do anything with it. The older technology is more reliable. My uncle bought a new Corvette and it was a nightmare when the electronics started up and he was in limp mode twice due to the electrical system failing multiple times. I was told while at the dealership they had been having a lot of quality problems with electrical parts working correctly. Edit: This is the reason I have been looking for a 1988 through 1995 BMW M series that isn't completely trashed.

      @Roddy_Zeh 10 месяцев назад +4

      @@kristoffer3000 I've seen a few renditions on the web and it didn't feel right, but I guess it was because the roofline was similar to the sedan. A coupe needs to have a slightly lower roof, windshield with a steeper angle.
      I don't know if you ever seen, but Audi produced a single A8 D2 Coupe in the 90's, a project co-made with IVM Automotive.
      A roofline following that design would've been perfect for a B5 Coupe, I think.

    • @kristoffer3000
      @kristoffer3000 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@Roddy_Zeh Yeah, I googled it to see if someone had made some renders and none of them looked right, they mostly just removed the rear doors and called it a day.
      Slapping the first gen A5 roof on it would look great.
