As for the content of this video, its crazy how much difference software can make. Goes to show the untapped potential brands leave on the table. If only they spent a few resources optimising the camera themselves, gcam would be obsolete. After all these years, one would hope that would have been the case!
What about low light video? Does Gcam work better? I wanna get the F6, and retire my trusty K20 Pro, and I really want to know how it would behave in concert-like environments

Personally now a days I don't see much difference between the stock and gcam pictures. The only thing that gcam does is getting the right amount of colour saturation in the photos. Besides that Default App is plenty for all
Yeah so that’s why it’s advisable to use both the apps for clicking photos

I have doing the same for a while. I keep both handy. Some scenarios gcam clicks better otherwise stock.
Untill you have a great Gcam 🙂, don't fall for mediocre gcam ports and xmls

@@vivek_vr not always, you can decrease sabre stitching and get super speedy results. And it also applies to Custom roms which don't usually have stock cams.

@@Technolobe Indeed broo.😃 I usually just for video recording use my iPhone SE 2. Hopefully within a few weeks will be shifting to Pixel 7 by giving my trustworthy K20 Pro to my mom.😊❤ The K20 Pro still runs rock solid and with EvoX rom its like butter.🫶🏽

Great Video! If my Mi11 ultra would crash, I would highly consider to get the F6. Also your gcam review helps mi with that consideration. Surely it would be a downgrade camera wise plus wireless charging, but the F6 is a great deal with great performance and a really good camera if you get gcam.

Please do for Iqoo Neo 7 Pro, the camera on it sucks but the hardware has potential. There's no proper Gcam video for it on RUclips
That was definitely your personal preference because I didn't see to much in the way of natural colour on Gcam. I say the stock cam better, seen as you tweaked a load of custom feature in Gcam and did nothing in the stock cam.

Please search one for mi 14 civi as well for those selfies and ultra wides. Gcam ultra wides are so much better
I purchased F6, used many phones camera like old i phones, new oneplus phones like 11r nothing etc,, But Believe Me my previous phone Poco X2 has no comparison in camera the stock processing and shots it take is marvelous missing my x2😢😢🥺 , Especially details are 10x better than F6, and if any chance there is 1000 of special g cam specially made for that device i don't think this phone will get that much and with g cam it not let any other phone stand by 😢

GCam for Samsung, I own A73 5G & I have tried a few GCam port's but they lag & hang in the viewfinder while chicking pictures.
Same problem with my mediatek device, seems like the gcam ports are only optimised for snapdragon chips so that can't be solved.
In the recent days gcam pictures are natural not HDR boosted. In day light gcam kills the game.

And the chipset and storage types are getting faster over time, so no need to unnecessarily flash custom rom
Custom rom is good for old 4-6GB ram and slower ufs 2.2 storage, and weak old chipsets like 720G, to get better debloated software and performance.....

Only those Photos can be Edited so well and Perfectly in SNAPSEED & especially LR.
