Great review man, summarise all the points pretty well. I think POCO should consider some identity in it's cameras, like realme capture good bright photos and puncty colours. Rest, it's a no non sense phone for performance oriented users.

To be fair, Poco has Xiaomi for anything camera related. I do agree that I think it's about time for their Poco brand to start getting good cameras.
Nah man poco has excellent camera processing and nothing of that overprocessing like OnePlus/realme...and if you want punchy colors you can do it in post

I was happy that they used Imx 882 but the software optimisation was not that great. It could have been a complete smartphone only if they managed to have good camera processing. BTW how about Gcam=Magic for this one?

8 gen 4 phones will cost a minimum of 60k and above. So go for the OP 12 otherwise you can wait for the 8 gen 4 because it will bring a lot of performance improvement especially in GPU

bro, didnt the old trshy icons in the poco launcher bothered you.........i mean just look at the camera icon, and the X icon still shows twitter icon. Poco's software is the most trash software out there. I have F4 and Iqoo neo 7 pro. Even the funtouch os 14 looks and feels better then this poco BS.

its good also ff max isnt that much heavy you will have no problems, motherboard issue was onli in 2021

My poco F6 have battery drain issue and in antutu battery health it shows 96%, Don't know if it's software problem or hardware problem...... And when I charge 100% and after unplugging in just 1sec its 99% ........

That's a serious issue,maybe your unit is defective
No bro you should not have this issue please go to service center because mine 100 to 99 goes after using it for 5 to 10 min

Can't trust poco from now onwards because their service center installing 3rd party cheap faulty incompatible display for poco f4. Even though they hyped their advertisement thinking about their after sales service it sucks. Poco definitely gonna sink someday.

yes its safe as long as u follow the guides, if follow properly u will never face any device brick(you can recover it too) issue and once u flash 2-3 custom roms you'll get use to of things

If you get both phones at same price then only consider Xiaomi 14 .

I think you confused 8 gen 3 with 8 s gen3.They are totally different processors.8s gen 3 cant even compare with 8 gen 2.let alone 8 gen 3😅.

Ip 68 and better build quality comes with a price increase. Those phones are offering ip 68 and better build quality because they aren't offering chipset like 8s gen 3. We shouldn't expect everything in the 25-30k price segment.

I own poco F5 it's the coolest phone I've ever used...max it goes I'd 42° and thats when I'm gaming...
(It doesn't go higher temps when I'm using it in full brightness under sunlight but that's okay can't blame the phone for Indian weather 😭 jab surrounding ka hi temperature 45° ho toh phone kaise Kam rahega)

8s gen 3 is trash if you compare it with the 8 gen 2, and also there is the iqoo neo 9 pro if you ignore the custom rom support, literally has an ltpodisplay, imx 920, faster charging i mean literally faster charging and the battery lasts more 8gen 2 ftw. And this crappy f6 is not value for money at all at 30k
Don't buy POCO F6 5G, I am regretting it after buying it on the first day of sale. After 1 week of normal usage my phone started having a screen flickering problem, I only noticed it 3-4 times so I ignored it. But after 1 month my display is dead. The service center employees were very rude and informed that there are no displays available for replacement in Mumbai. At the service center I met 2 more customers with the same F6 display dead problem. POCO F6 has a serious display issue.
Is there any motherboard issues with POCO F6 ?
