    Sonego is a tough cookie to beat on clay, level of his grunting today shows that he really wanted to win that match. Impressive from Fonseca.

      Level of his grunting showed how much he wanted to attempt to distract and annoy his opponent. I'm glad it didn't work. Chair umpires need to have the authority to bring putting an end to those annoying loud grunts. It's ridiculous

    Amazing, what a level of maturity of his game, at his age. Quite refreshing. On a good day, Sonego can beat most top-30 players, so standing that kind of pressure is remarkable.

      @@Tenfamlearn of course is similar, but if you compare unforced errors and winners for each wing Fonseca has a way worse backhand than his incredible forehand, instead of Sinner, who has a solid and agressive backhand and his forehand has improved in the last months. I watched him alive losing for Stef in AO23 and I can definitely state that the greek's forehand was so much agressive and solid than Sinner's.
      In Monte-Carlo, happened the same, Stef's forehand made the difference...
      Fonseca in turn will always be a bombastic forehand player

      he s too big an heavy. Its like a better version of berettini. that mass can be brought around at that speed only at 19-25 years old age. after that he will loose speed and stamina. But kid is very talented. Pity Nature wont forgive it in future.

    He certainly has the talent to build a solid career. If he reaches what guys like Rublev, Ruud and De Minaur did so far is already something great. Above that only time will tell but I'm looking forward to see it.

      Só espero que ele não siga o Alcaraz em termos de lesões! Pobre Alcaraz, parece que vai ter sua carreira um tanto quanto comprometida por conta de lesões.. eu desconfio que o problema com o Alcaraz foi uma excessiva sobrecarga precoce de trabalho físico em cima de um corpo ainda em desenvolvimento.. mera desconfiança, mas desconfio muito disso..

      Novak is the father of modern game. Returns, crazy court coverage balanced fore hand backhand game that suits all court gamestyle is made to win and most of the coaches and players try to build their game around that style.
      Having said that sinner is more of djokovic than fonseca honestly.

    I dont mind players grunting no matter the volume. I just think it's poor sportsmamship when there's a 7 second delay from when you hit the ball. Sonego grunts as his opponent is hitting the ball sometimes

    Fonseca at 17 has way more skills than Sonego at 27..crazy how Sonego never improved after 22yrs old..always same level..nothing new
