How to turn one island into an empire? EASY! I, Koifish, Will show you how to easily get the Got Land Achievement in Crusader Kings 2. In this achievement we have to form the empire of Scandinavia starting as the island of Gotland. Now that's what i call a good CK2 challenge! Can the viking tribe of Gotland unite Scandinavia under one banner, with the guidance of Koifish the Viking? Will he be able to survive and form an empire that will stand the test of time? Watch and find out!
I'm playing with all the DLC, including the latest (and greatest): CK2 Holy Fury!

Yay more CK2! This was a beautiful story, I love how in a way Thorfinn dying meant his Rivals kingdom was split, giving his son the chance to conquer it, it was worth it in the end!

You know, i found this achievement to actually be phenomenally easy. Why? How? Simple. Just play as the King of Sweden and Norway in 1337. The dude starts out with Gotland as one of his holdings, already owns most of the Empire of Scandinavia, and really only needs to conquer some Finnish and Sami countries to fully get Scandinavia. You can usually get the achievement in 5 to 10 in-Game years, even if you are a total CK2 noob.
