Eine der besten Bands, die ich mein ganzes Leben lang hören durfte, Präzision, Technik und unvergessliche lyrische Komposition ... es lebe UFO und MSG. . . .
A band with such energy. No one sounds like them although a major influencer of the Rock Music of today. London's Finest.Recorded one of The Five Greatest LIVE albums of all time.
Wind blows back and the batons charging It winds all the way Right to the butt of my gun Maybe now your time has come From the backstreets there's a rumblin' Smell of anarchy No more nice time, bright boy shoe shines Pie in the sky dreams Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end Better now you know we'll never Wait until tomorrow Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end God knows when I'm comin' on my run Heaven help those who help themselves That's the way it goes Frightening thoughts, what's been taught And now it shows Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end Better now, you know we'll never Wait until tomorrow Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end God knows when I'm comin' on my run Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end Better now you know we'll never Wait until tomorrow Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end God knows when I'm comin' on my run You keep comin', there's no runnin' I tried a thousand times Under your feet, the grass is growin' Time we said, goodbye Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end Better now you know we'll never Wait 'til tomorrow Lights out, lights out in London Hold 'em tight 'til the end God knows when I'm comin' on my run Lights out, lights out in London Lights out, lights out in London
why are they not in the rock n roll hall of fame? sometings wrong their, i was listening to this when everyone else were listening to the bay city rollers so gay
Hate to disagree, but it was best live in 77 and 78 when Schenker was still in the band and on tour playing it live. Glad you enjoyed the version with Chapman though. Lol
@chrishall9812 Yeah, Schenker rejoined them and put out the Walk On Water album with the "Classic Lineup" of Schenker, Mogg, Way, Raymond and Parker, then toured with them, but with Simon Wright on drums because Andy Parker didn't want to go on tour. Then he left and came back for the Covenant and Sharks albums then left for the last time, and Vinnie Moore was hired. Know all about it. But although they kicked ass on those tours, nothing equals those tours from 77 and 78.

Excellent song, Schenker absolutely brings it with the leads. UFO rocks!!
Love this era of UFO , Schenker is the balm!
An epic all its fine sentiment and great construction. Total bliss for most rockers like me. Bring it on brothers.
This is the definition of the term "Banger."
First rock band I ever saw!! Many moons ago!! Then later I saw them with Michael shenker!!❤I'm 60 too🇺🇲🇬🇧🇩🇪💪✌️

Havent heard this in many many years sounds just as good and badass
Oh My! That guitar ...
LO sings to save me, and it leaves an impression on me that it exudes a sense of urgency.
I’ve listened to “Lights out” since 7th grade and it still sounds bitchin today.
aw man i feel old
Lo mejor de UFO. Todos geniales en Lights out.
Great video for a great song!

Always preferred UFO with MS not the same without him...he was magnificent.
Some people put them down I don't care I know good music when I hear it❤
Why doesn’t anyone acknowledge the greatness of Schenker?
I definitely appreciate him. Top 5 guitarist in my opinion 🤘🏾💥🎸
@@jeffferrell8607AGREED....John Sykes is in that top 5 as well
Amazing band
Wind blows back and the batons charging
It winds all the way
Right to the butt of my gun
Maybe now your time has come
From the backstreets there's a rumblin'
Smell of anarchy
No more nice time, bright boy shoe shines
Pie in the sky dreams
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
Better now you know we'll never
Wait until tomorrow
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
God knows when I'm comin' on my run
Heaven help those who help themselves
That's the way it goes
Frightening thoughts, what's been taught
And now it shows
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
Better now, you know we'll never
Wait until tomorrow
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
God knows when I'm comin' on my run
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
Better now you know we'll never
Wait until tomorrow
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
God knows when I'm comin' on my run
You keep comin', there's no runnin'
I tried a thousand times
Under your feet, the grass is growin'
Time we said, goodbye
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
Better now you know we'll never
Wait 'til tomorrow
Lights out, lights out in London
Hold 'em tight 'til the end
God knows when I'm comin' on my run
Lights out, lights out in London
Lights out, lights out in London
Drums and base sounds great, so many years later
No mention of Schenker on guitar?
exceptional, legacy.
🔥
best song ever recorded.
One of them
Definitely my favorite, song and band.

Stranger's in the nights
Saw them at their height in late 70s
"Okay Michael, this song is about how we survived in London when during World War Two the Germans... Opps. Sorry mate."

Agree completely. Same is true of Blue Oyster Cult.
Steve Miller was right about the HoF.
Play this back to back with achillies last stand
Yes, rhythmic similarities. I actually prefer this. It's far more direct.
Cause the rock and roll hall of fame is not about rock and roll

It's in your face from the start . Even better live in 1981 .

@@1Phepsi Really after he left UFO he rejoined them 3 times putting out a new album every time back .
