Heartland RV manufacturer wanted to use this name to invoke the feelings of success, joyful, etc.
This Heartland Corterra CT3.0 floorplan lifestyle, from our perspective and observations, might not stand up to its definition on this particular RV. Shoddy manufacturing and a propane leak, seen by our critical eyes.
This new RV brand and prototype came with a lot of glitches and details overlooked. From ordered components missing to misleading promises. To production being of a special order. Everything and anything to make our customer uneasy with the process of ownership.
After watching this video, let us know where you stand with this brand new line trying to get a share of the market!

“I used to be indecisive, but now I don’t know” 🤣 Good one Pierre!
Wow glad I watched. Thanks!!!!
A few years ago we were at the RV Show and loved the Heartland Cyclone Toy Hauler. Great Floor Plan! Asked the Heartland Rep where do we get it Warranty Service? He replied, “The Local Camping World!”.. We ran. Heartland’s are held together with Pig Lipstick!
🤣🤣
How can you not love Pierre. And the way he just calls it like he sees it. Another fine job guys.
😉🤣
Did they use parts off a returned unit with new people building the unit? Another fine job!!!!! ❤❤❤
Good one 🤣
You are all amazing really opening our eyes to those things we miss when making a big purchase …
Bust! Honest feels hopeless finding a good rig anymore. Thanks for the continued eduction. ❤
I just bought the propane and water inspection tools. Thank you for suggesting those!! My wife and I are new to RVing. We're in our 60s and want to travel the country. Not without a thorough inspection now!!! I didn't know inspectors existed before finding your wonderful page!! I am a retired District Service Manager for Honda and Chrysler. I thought the auto industry was bad. Nothing compared to the stuff you've shown!!
🤣🤣 right??
Make sure to reach out! We're there to help 😉
Good one guys Thank you for the links! I hope they correct the major list - Pierre's Monday's build. If they do not, I hope they run.
That propane tank brand seems to be a popular cost saving for manufacturers these days. My guess is the valve’s cross threaded. They also consistently have chips knocked off the porcelain on the bottom making it hard for ultrasonic tank monitors to get good readings
Thanks sgain for the tool recommendations. Just ordered the propane and moisture testers through your links.
We appreciate your support 🙏 yet so glad we can feel helpful in reality 😊
We were really considering trading in our 2022 5th wheel Keystone Sprinter 30RL just because of all the shiny new RVs out there. Drool lol !
We lucked out because we’ve had very minor fixes (didn’t know there was such a thing as RV inspectors!). We decided until the RV industry gets its act together and start building quality, we’ll just keep our Sprinter. We’ll just do preventative maintenance and be happy!!!
Wise decision 👌
P.S. I saw you guys while we were snowbirds in Florida in February. I was so excited, I almost jumped out of the golf cart!!!!
My husband thought I was seeing the ‘second coming’ or something! Lol
Why didn't you stop and say hi ?? 🙄
We were just starting the 10th hole and you were just driving in. Next year!! We’ll be there TWO months!
I’ll get you two’s autograph then😊
I think I remember...you almost threw your husband off the golf cart right ??🤣
Watched a few of you videos now. We don't need an inspection, already have class B but if we needed one, we would definitely hire you! Keep up the good job! Bonne Job!! Une chance qu'il ya des gens comme vous!
Merci beaucoup 😉🤣
We looked at a Heartland Road Warrior toy hauler... very briefly that is. Build quality was horrendous.
C4BO, love you guy’s. You tell it like you see it and protect the buyer. No way would I buy that POS too many issues for a brand new unit!
I'm hoping to be able to get the both of you to inspect the rig(s) I find nxt yr. Awesome work! ✌️😊
Consistent lack of workmanship, quality, and pride of their work.
Thank you! And you know what I mean!
Great video y'all don't need to get to hot plz take care of yourself 🎉
I actually did buy one of the propane testers after one of you last videos Pierre and have used it. Found a small leak at my house!
Smart man 😉
Every time I watch one of your videos, it sways me more and more away from ever purchasing any RV.
It's like any hobby...it will cost you!
@@blueoxontherun9188 Yes, a friend purchased an RV a few years ago. Within the first six months of ownership, roof leak. Back to the dealer for over six months. After the "repairs", within the next year, roof leaks. Close to $12000 later, a new roof installed. Yes, VERY expensive hobby!
It could be right?
Exactly the purpose of having a knowledgeable team going through that unit, before signing any paperwork with a seller 🙂
It is now becoming a necessity for people in the know to find themselves an inspection team to protect their assets 😉
Hi Y’all, Pierre I just watch the propane leak& shoddy video. I guess you might be surprised I have and use the propane sniffer after every tank fill!
Well I'm proud of you. I didn't live in vain 🙏
Smart man
There was a time that Heartland made some pretty decent units, this sure didn't look like one.
The ability of the US RV industry to produce "crapsky" (I habla Russian as well), never fails to amaze me. BTW, didn't get a notification about your video. Did find it on my main screen, but says it was uploaded 2 days ago. Seems you could add RUclips to the Bloopers.
Right?? I don't know what happened. That was scheduled for 5 pm tonight !!?!?!
@@blueoxontherun9188Sorry, I just reported what I saw. Still no notification and I routinely look around 5 PM, devoted, senile fan that I am. If it happens again on Thursday, I will let you know.
Thank you!!
Maybe YT has ulterior motives as well 🤔 financial game for them 🤔 asking for a friend 😉
Seriously verified at 4.45 pm yesterday, showing scheduled to be on 15 minutes later 🤔 than came up at 5 showing already out for 2 days 😲
Def bust, funny because a “famous” RV reviewer just reviewed one of these but you could tell it was shoddy quality just watching the video! Congratulations on the RV Mattress / Brooklyn Bedding sponsorship!! C4BO
😊 thanks. Some sponsors see the potential in our channel 😉.
We just don't want to peddle useless "stuff" just for a buck! You know what I mean.
Curious with all the hype on Brinkley have you all had the pleasure of inspecting one good enough to form your opinion on build quality compared to others. Everybody seems to be putting them on a high pedestal above all others. Would be interested in getting your view. If you haven't looked at one maybe you can arrange to do one just because of all the hype for an honest opinion.
Principle founder of Brinkley started Keystone, then sold to Thor, then started Grand Design, then sold to Winnebago...then started Brinkley!!
See any pattern yet?
If this is all true, where do you think my answer to your question should be 🤔😁
@blueoxontherun9188 Looks like a big money trail to me and after the others were sold they all went to crap.
How different is Brinkley's you'll ask ?
C4BO!👍🏼😎
Wow, that is horrible... big time bust!!! Luckily, it didn't blow up.
Great video and job with this RV, but yall always do a great inspection.
Good video.
Thanks Mr Chuck 👍
Busted! I wish you would tell us if the customer buy it or not, please 🙏🏼
They passed on this one 🤣
@@blueoxontherun9188smart and you guys are doing a great job!
Thanks 😁 😊
It’s hard to find good help these days C4BO 😊
That's so... disappointing! Brand new?? And looks like it was already used. Gosh, how will it look a year from now?? Doesn't seem like it will hold up well.
I would walk away from that half million dollar disaster. Pretty sick out of a Newmar.
great rv as long as you never use it!!
Just curious if there are any brands you won't inspect because (based on past experiences) you know the unit is more than likely going to be a P.O.S. This unit might qualify. Also alarming to see how rusty the undercarriage is already, although you probably see this frequently. I work in an industry where the customer is given the opportunity to inspect their new vehicle (generally priced at $250k and up) before it leaves the manufacturing facility. The inspection process generally consumes the better part of a day or more depending on the customer and/or intricacy of the vehicle. Such a process would be a game changer for the RV industry, although am I correct in believing that this may be offered with some brands???? If so, do you know which brands do allow a factory inspection by the end-user?
It would be a "special" event or high end $ unit when they will allow such practice 😉
To answer your other question, they are all equivalent in inconsistencies.
Except for "Prevost", we'll inspect most all of them 🙂
@@blueoxontherun9188 OK - with the volume of production in the RV industry I can see why this would not be commonplace. I get it that hand-built RVs will always have some variations or inconsistencies, but the RV industry has got to its act together. The real story is who drives that - the end-user who refuses to accept a unit or the responsible manufacturer who recognizes their faults and takes the necessary steps to effect change? I may be more critical than some (but I'm still reasonable). However, I've not yet seen a towable manufacturer that I'm ready to leave my money with. Always appreciate your videos!
Responsible manufacturers 🤣 good one !!
@@blueoxontherun9188 I know - wishful thinking! But it seems some do listen (on occasion).
It seems part of the problem with the RV industry is that there will always be someone that will accept this unit (unknowingly or knowingly), following the cliché that their is an a.. for every seat. The manufacturers (AND their dealers) know these units have a laundry list of issues, but are still all too happy to accept the customer's money up front and hope they never hear from them again. One can probably expect (or accept) a few issues at a lower price point, but as the price climbs these issues should fade away. No one should spend close to six figures or more on a towable RV and still receive a turd of a unit. Maybe I'm a bit naïve, but if enough people walk away from these sub-par units, MAYBE at least some of the manufacturers will get the hint. Unfortunately, I also don't think RV buyers have a unified voice that forces the manufacturers to raise the bar.
Right???
There's also a statement made by PT Barnum that said. ..there's a sucker born every minute 😳🥺
My favorite destination is anywhere in SWFL in the winter. About that Heartland. I wouldn’t buy anything they make after watching Liz Amazing RUclipsr and that poor couple Colt and Jamie who had everything wrong with their 5th wheel and Heartland wouldn’t fix anything or answer calls. What a nightmare. Ofcourse they didn’t have an inspection.
That could have helped 😆
Sorry Pierre, you’re wrong about me. I’ve got a propane sniffer, manometer, and moisture detector thanks to you. And I use all 3 at least annually. Just love your videos and the good information gleaned.
Fair enough! I couldn't see you that day! I didn't think you were watching 🤣
C4BO We had a Heartland TT and it was cheaply made. I won’t buy another.
They definitely went down in quality 🙄
No pride in construction 😮
None 🤨
C4BO !!!
Heartland has issues! They used to be a good middle of the road but they have gone down hill!! That one is a bust!
I'm with you on that one...3 of them in 2 different dealerships, same problems. Customer went with another brand and manufacturer
Cb4o
BUST!!! What kind dealership puts junk like this on there lots??? Quality of this is really bad, I know you get what you pay for but this still alot money to be this bad!! Doesn't anybody have any pride in there work these days? It's a sad day in America folks. Let's hope we can right this ship before its to late!!! Thanks good people to point this stuff out!!!
You're welcome 😊
It is part of the journey!
Proudness of craftsmanship is definitely not a common trait anymore!
You're leaving when? Lol! A bust for me!
C4BO
Bust
That thing is a total POS, and I hope your customers kept looking. We've walked through a couple of Heartland products at the RV shows, and they are just very poorly made. This is a perfect example of the poor quality of RV's these days. BTW- We really enjoyed Zion National Park, we did not camp there, but plan to in the near future.
They definitely are not to impressive so far...
Loved Zion and will go back again soon. Maybe later this year 🙂
Wow that’s a horrible rig! You would think it’s pre owned!
Another Brand not to buy Bust😂
bust
POS fifth wheel
This rig's a bust for me - Too many issues, even the small ones. Lack of quality workmanship. Shows the importance of an inspection.
Do you imagine how many people would buy these without knowing 🤔
Yes, definitely, b/c the units are, based on superficial appearance, nice & modern, shiny, and the salesmen tell the buyers what they want to hear. Buyers are spending as much money on RVs as they would a house, and most people have a new home inspected before purchasing. Given the poor workmanship of RVs these days, I'd think that an inspection is warranted before one buys and then once the dealership claims to have completed the inspector's list of repairs (so two inspections).
You'd think so 🤔
c4bo
Piece of crap RV. Run!
Bust. Time to move on!
You got that right ✅️
This has to be near the top of the junk pile . If a sales person try to sell me this junk , trust me that I would find the sales manager and take him to see this junk to ask him why anybody try to see this crap . If the sales manager apologize to me , then I will say to him that I would spread the good word about the dealership . Bad news always travel fast .
