We winter south of Tucson and we use 6” by 5/16 lag bolts with fender washers we purchased at Tractor Supply to hold our mats down. We use our cordless impact wrench to put them in and take them out. It’s surprising how tough the soil is in the desert. They cinch the mat down like you were screwing into wood.

We have Walgreens and when we have an out of state Walgreens tells me they have my meds, I call the local Walgreens and they contact the Walgreens and they transfer to the local. No issues…. While in SE Missouri two years ago Jo and I was watching a movie in our camper and wind was blowing so the top of the camper was swaying as usual.. then all of a sudden, the whole camper was moving sideways. For about 10-15 seconds. We looked at each other knowing the wind could not move the camper like that! Turns out a 4.6 earthquake epicenter was about 45 miles or so from us. Such a weird feeling. I’ve been to CA and felt them and drove a car while one happened… not so scary. Supper when I was younger, SE Missouri my folks, Flint MI for me. Now the names are interchangeable. Lunch for noon. For Tartar sauce it depends on the taste, on some fried fish and ketchup on some fried and for salt water fish, mostly nothing. Mcd and other fish sandwiches, tartar. Cracker Barrel, a little ketchup.

I had a 2000w Yamaha generator that was hard to start. I figured out something that seemed to help that you may want to try: I grabbed the generator by the handle on top while the generator sat on the ground, I rolled it forward to about 45* held it there for a second or two then rolled it back to about the same angle. It usually started right up then. I’m no mechanic but I’m guessing it helped get gas to where it needed to be in the carburetor…that’s my story and I’m sticking to it 😂

ethanol fuel when it sits for a while will eventually clog and gum up everywhere it goes. Generators generally sit for months on end so this could very well be your issue. also apparently this model does not have a fuel filter. when you clean/rebuild the carb I would also add a fuel filter.

I was in an earthquake years ago when I was visiting Taipei and on the 20th floor of a Hyatt hotel. I didn't feel the shaking, I just felt like I was getting dizzy. Initially I thought it was jet lag, but when I stepped into the bathroom, I noticed the water in the toilet was moving back and forth. I realized I wasn't dizzy, it was just how I processed the movement.

I grew up using both supper and dinner, but we went to Supper Clubs and ate dinner specials. Lunch is at noon (or at least sometimes) for us also. If you do not know what a Supper Club is you missed out. Another channel had their Grand Design hauled to the junkyard and the tow truck was gone in no time with the trailer and he did not have a 5th wheel connector on his rig. It shows how a rig with a lock can still disappear in under 15 minutes.
We have heard the name of a supper club but never experienced one before! Unfortunately, if they really want the rig they will take it. We just try to slow them down and prevent theft of our rig as much as possible. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching too! ~ Shion and Matthew

In March of 2020, Idaho had a 6.5 earthquake in the Sawtooth Mountains. We felt this in Boise 150 miles away. We spent the summer up in the mountains near the epicenter and experienced 100's of aftershocks! All of a sudden the RV would just start rockin and rollin. Fun times! 😊

This was a fantastic episode - covered a bunch of stuff super relevant to us... Firstly - that coleman generator - we got one a year or so ago because i was tired of lifting out 100lb generator into the truck. So love the weight of the colman but simply cannot start it on propane. Starts right up on gas though so i keep a small can of that and just use it to start it. Love the tour through Mexico there - we used to go all the time but have not been to aldegones - super helpful to see the process - we need some good mexican food! Great tips on the rv safety ! Really liked this :)

You can stay overnight in that big parking lot too. I stayed overnight in that parking lot and it was great. Then you can get up really early and go in and then get out early before the line gets long to come back in the US. I would go without people who can't get up early enough. Getting up late is cool most of the time but in certain situations, you need to get up early to do certain things, retired or not.

On our second champion generator. We have the remote start and love. If you're not doing maintenance then they don't last. Our last had 2500 hours with out doing altitude jets. This should last much longer. I forgot to rejet and didn't pull the spark arrest out

We used to use CVS for our prescriptions, but had many problems. We switched to Walmart and they've been great at home and on the road for the past three years.

Good video 😊 I no longer use portable generators when I order a new rig I have it In install from factory 🤔 also just saying if drop food on the floor there is ten second rule pick it up an eat it in the military that's what you had to do

If y'all are staying at Pilot Knob, you should just go to Algodones for your meds. You don't even need a prescription. There are many pharmacies there competing for your business. Just tell them what you want or show them an empty bottle. My wife gets 3 months of her blood pressure meds for $9 at the purple pharmacy. She also uses albuterol inhalers. Here at Walmart, they cost $50/inhaler with no insurance. In Mexico they were 10 for $19.95 - same brand, same packaging. That's 4% of what they cost here. We wintered over in Yuma this year and went to Algodones several times, bringing back honey, shrimp, tequila, etc.. I got a wisdom tooth extracted there this year that only cost $100 including injections and stitches. Two years ago, the same procedure on another tooth including X-rays was only $80 there at another dentist who actually lives in the US and went to a US dental school too. You can really save some money in MX. BTW, I grew up in New Orleans and we say supper for the evening meal and dinner for a large noon meal - lunch if it's just sandwiches at noon.

We have been full-time for 2 years now. Since then we transferred all our prescriptions to Walgreens. CVS seems to be completely unable and unwilling to get things right. For us Walgreens works without issues.
We would like to switch to Walgreens but the brand that CVS uses is different than the one at Walgreens and Shion likes the CVS version better. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching too! ~ Shion and Matthew

We had a thief in Quartzsite where we were camped. They stole some stuff from one group and then they came to our camp and took some weird stuff. After we left they went back and took more really random stuff. So weird. We aren't big Cracker Barrel eaters. Just their breakfast if we go.

Living in Ontario back in the 60s it was breakfast, lunch & dinner.
I grew up saying dinner. Now I say supper, so folks know what I'm talking about. I've NEVER seen a menu that said breakfast, dinner, supper. They always say, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner and supper are the same meal, in the evening. I grew up near Philly.
I just got an Rx yesterday. They used GoodRx Gold, and it was twice as much as usual. So, she checked another GoodRx, and it went back to the lower price. Be careful of that.

We had an earthquake in Palm Desert California in 2016 i think, april or may, about 430am there was a LOUD SCREECHING metal rock sound (was deep underground rocks grinding on each other) and a substantial shaking of the floor, the bed, the walls, but it stopped and we went back to sleep. after getting up we noticed that the main door of our rented condo would not hang straight, it kept swinging shut. about 10am there was a LOUD SNAP of a wood beam right above the doorway, obviously it broke, we alerted the main desk of the resort, they didnt seem to care at all!

Alabama dinner and supper . Also every soft drink is called a coke. So the questions is what kind of coke do you want ? Really and I do not know why. I will tell my wife about the Earth Quakes in Yuma . Since we will be there in two day. Also if she get a warning to drop and roll. I will try to have my gopro near so I can record it as well. Hoping to get some gold hunting done while in Yuma as well . Would love to go to Mexico I'm short and dark completed so might have hard to getting back in is what my wife says.

The CVS auto refill system is a joke. EVERY chance I get I tell them to NOT do auto refill, and even go into the website and make sure it's turned off, yet within a couple weeks I'll get a text wanting to refill and then a couple weeks later I'll get a notice that they've refilled my prescription. I know what they're doing, the way their system works if you let them refill when they are allowed to you will end up with an extra prescription each year.
It seemed to work perfectly the first year on the road and then starting the second year it has gotten auto filled every time and we have to go through the hassle of getting it "put back on the shelf" so we can get it refilled at the proper CVS. Every time I use CVS I have to turn off auto refill on the CVS app

Portions at CB have been reduced significantly over the last few years but prices have gone up. Many manufacturers are doing the same thing with their products. I was eating yogurt from a small container when I noticed the bottom was indented upwards almost an inch. You are not getting what you think from many products. Packaging is smaller but hidden in some cases. Potato chip packaging looks gigantic at first glance but when you open the package you may find it only half full. Cheating!
Hopefully America goes on a diet. We could use a break in cost of healthcare. Geez oh peeets.

The stuff that was left behind was our friends, they just went to dump tanks and get water and asked us to watch the 2 generators, etc. It did look like someone left quick though, LOL 😂 We don't like it when people steal either and we try to lock things up when we leave camp if we have no friends around. What is wrong with champion generators. I am new to RV and have a 5500 genie by champion.
Great question. We had 2 Champion generators. The first one was a 3500 Dual Fuel and it was just to heavy and bulky and the exhaust was pointed to the ground, so we always had to put it on the truck so it was elevated high enough to keep running without overheating. The second Champion generator we got used and it kept seizing up when we tried to start it but we have heard many people have had great success with Champion generators. Hope yours is doing well. Predator 3500 generator, got rid of a stupid Champion and have never regretted it.

What was wrong with the champion and did you do maintenance
@@FrankFix-fk7vv had it less than 6 months, it would not start on gas or propane. I did all maintenace required but before they honored their warranty they wanted me to dig into it and adust the valves, pull the carb. Off and clean it, not something I was comfortable with. I will have to give thanks to Amazon, even though I was outside the return window they allowed me to return it and gave me half of my money back.
Earth Quake's arn =t that bad untill they reach 7.0 and up then you really know you've beed in one. lol !!!
