Bust for me. The slide issue was enough for me the say “I AM OUT”. The elite RV inspection team finds issues with a prefect (allegedly) RV again. Love your videos!!!
Thanks Mr Fred 👍
I have a friend who is wanting to purchase a Class A for full time living and I have insisted many times he have a full inspection, I surely hope he takes my advice. I told him about you and watching your videos.
That's the best you could do for a friend 😉
Then it's up to him to own it 😁
Gravity guarantees that eventually slides give trouble, no matter how well made. RV's with slides will have problems but more space. RV's without slides eliminate a common set of problems but do not provide as much space.
Totally agree...I'll negotiate with the slideout issues to gain that space for me as well ! We choose our monkeys😅
I have a Tiffin and use your inspections to "inspect" my own coach, and darn I found some of the same items you find. Thanks for another great video.
You might be ready for endorsement 😉🤣
Very informative vid. Glad there are professionals like you both. Happy Easter!!! All that glitters is not gold.
Well said 😁🤣
Great catch! Great job! Definitely will reach out when we buy next time. I would be very nervous of the slides being out of wack. Also…love the seamless slides…soooooo, is it cracked from stress, structure issue, or 🤷🏻♂️. Great job! Safe travels.
This right here is why I am convinced getting a toy hauler and redoing it myself is making more and more sense, both of you have made me aware of even new Class A’s /B’s / C’s doesn’t mean your safe. Almost like you would be better off have a barebones RV and finishing it off for yourself.. 😂
Glad to see they were able to get everything fixed and made the purchase. We just had a slide do that and I was sitting here thinking we were doomed with it. We were in Panama City when the tornados touched down in January and did you know that with the wind an pressure, those slides will move in and out, up and down? I’m thinking that’s what happened to us. It was just enough to scare the 💩 out of me at 4:30 am in the dark. 🥺
Bust for me personally.....reason ?? The crookedness of the slides would cost too much to reseat or adjustment
RIGHT ON!!!!!
I would NEVER purchase a RV without an inspection, PERIOD!!!!
Smart!!! 😉
Bust for me. I don’t want an “ok” for the money you have to spend. Pass. Keep up the wonderful videos. We looked at a brand new Newmar Bay Star and I looked at it differently this time - thanks! Knowledge is power.
So many slides with issues! I realize when these things go down the road things can/will “loosen up “. But to spend sooo much money . . .well I can’t fathom it cause I don’t have it! ;-)
I went to Maryland from NY and purchased a 40' Country Coach site-unseen and drove it home without issues. As with ANY used diesel pusher that weighs #40K lbs. you'll be able to pick out problems. All I really needed to see was maintenance records and recent service which was all documented...the rest is just "stuff". Slides can be adjusted (easily, I've done it) seals can be replaced and yes, electrical can be a nightmare (been there) with these things. I have a friend who purchased a brand new 40' rig $600K and it came with electrical gremlins that even the dealer is scratching their heads about. Do your research, subscribe to channels like this and other forums. 99% time someone has dealt with the same problem and has a fix for it. This Tiffin here I would buy in a heartbeat if the price was right without hesitation. ***SUBSCRIBED***
Exactly!
Thanks for chiming in.
The reason we do what we do is to protect consumers that have no knowledge or experience or understanding of construction or mechanical issues standing right in front of them.
So many people unknowingly are getting legally screwed with pieces of junk available to purchase out there 🤨🥴
Nice Coach!
What a beautiful coach I don't know if the slides would make me shy away from it. Can they be realigned? Only if they can't be fixed would I say bust. Good job as usual.
Buster Brown for me........basically due to the slide issues and the electrical. As a side note, the more I watch your videos, the more convinced I am of the value of a 2 person inspection team. You get a more thorough inspection and there are added eyes to see the inside and outside of the slide in motion......basically more bang for the buck.
I see 👀 ...said the blind man !!
Definitely less chance to miss something. 😉
@@blueoxontherun9188 'I see you're nuts,' said the psychiatrist to the naked man who barged into his office
🤣🤣
A big bust unless the dealer takes care of everything
Shows the importance of an inspection before purchase. The slide issue will be expensive to repair.
Right?
Thanks, I'm learning a lot. Bust
Hey, thanks for another great show!
I was just thinking the other day about something that might be good for you to address on one of your shows. That is, what percent of inspections that you perform end up costing the customer nothing after they renegotiate price and repairs based on your inspection report? Obviously, if they choose not to buy it, you save them a ton of money due to things they never would have found until after they purchased. However, I would think that the majority who end up purchasing the unit are able to cover the entire cost of the inspection by using your report to resolve issues the sellar either didn't know or didn't communicate.
Every single time, they recuperate above the cost of the inspection definitely!!
FWIW - the terms "streetside" and "curbside" are commonly used in the ambulance industry as well. Just makes sense.
Thank you 😊 🙄🤣
It’s a buy, if they check on repair costs and negotiate with the seller to cover expenses!
Pierre--those "Monday" Slide-outs--are there any solutions to solving those problems? Would the rig have to go back to the factory to get that adjustment made? You said that there are no adjustments, but could the manufacturer make it right? Just curious. Another great video, it is so great to see you every week! Take care.
The bowed floor, on the streetside slideout, can't be fixed or adjusted. It will always scrape at the front end. One will live with it.
The bedroom slideout, same side, could be fixed by taking the slide out, and fix the channel, "H" frame, all around the opening, making it square with the box and opening. Then put the box back into the hole.
The wall moving when closing the slideout...live with it 😉
Another great video!!! I would have to walk away from this due to the slides problems 🎉
Bust! Misaligned slide-outs would be incredibly expensive to fix. Had a quad slide and it required constant maintenance. If you are not mechanically inclined this would be a nightmare.
This is why I told my husband when we buy another trailer we will get an inspector. I never liked slides.
Bust for me with the slide problems and walls flexing. My 2013 Tiffin has walls that flex so I know what that is like.
If everything is fixed!!! Other than the sideouts??? I'm on the fence with this one??? Good luck!!!
Me too 🤣
You know,if I ever purchase another RV,I would get one with NO sliders, too many problems with them,Always,if not then eventually.
Personally, I feel squareness of the slide box has a lot to do with whether the Schwintek will eventually fail. A lot of this happening as reported in FB groups. Ours (2016 45UP) has been good. Fingers crossed.
😉 you said it 🙏
I love your channel but you make me feel that my class A dream is has me scared to death of getting garage with fancy paint
😉😁
I'm not sure. Everything but the slide could be fixed. The slideout on the other hand could be a big issue and a deal breaker.
Slides may be nice for adding room, but the mechanical complexity makes me say no on wanting one. Having a big hole in the side of your vehicle with a moving plug just screams structural problems, especially for super slides where most of the side is slide. How can you make the structure stiff enough with that large of a hole? I doubt it.
Definitely a weakness 🙂
I think they should be able to adjust the slides, but the wall moving near the door when the slides come in and out are concerning. Did they buy it?
Kent
They did take possession and they are happy 😊
Dealership fixed everything they wanted to have repaired.
Have you guys ever inspected an Airstream?
We have at least 2 videos on them and another one coming soon
It’s a bust for me, too expensive of a rig to have to put more money in to. Thanks for another great vid
C4BO. Thanks
Slide outs really scare me being out of square. I think I would pass.
Awesome inspection. Given the slide issues this coach isn't worth more $75,000. This coach is a money pit.
Busted
All four slides out of alignment? Either built by cub scouts of the frame is bent. Not my circus, not my monkees.
Incredible that the dealer took care of it all, in a timely manner. Hungry times?
You said it 😉
A buy after everything
Hmmm 🤔 PDI, I thought it was "Probably Did Ignore"... If I was your customer with this rig, I would be outta there as fast a 🦓 being chased by a 🐯.
Bust for me - the slide issue is a deal breaker for me.
probably didn’t inspect for sure, but they will charge you for it! Bust!😊
The slides would big a bust for me.
C4BO!👍🏼😎
Bust with the slide out issue.
What do think about the Newmar Supreme Aire?
Bootiful 🙂 😉
It is still a box 🤣
Do you think they are built well? Have you ever inspected any?
They are well built in general 🙂
Bust for me. Too many slide issues plus the electrical issues!
I would not dealwith the defective slides alone, letalone the other things...
Both 45 ft diesel pushers !
Bust for me, slide issue
Bust…slides 😝😝
Why is a 2015 thru 2018. Winnebago grand tour selling for much higher money …. I seen a 2021. Newmar. Selling for half what a 2016. Winnebago grand tour ! What’s up with that ?
Offer and demand 😉
Just stick to PORT and STARBOARD. There's only one way they can be applied to any kind of vessel or vehicle.
Bust. Slideouts never get better, entropy.
Bust since it was bad leaving the factory. If they cant quality control these before they leave the plant, they don't deserve my hard earned cash. especially at these prices.
That's my frustration as well 🙃
Bust for me
I would give the dealer a chance to fix it if he didn’t then I’d walk.Definitely wouldn’t buy before I had it reinspected.
Right?
The trim isn’t wood !
I had to think more than just a few times on this rig . I think Pierre said it was a 2018 which makes it 6 years old and has far too many problems within a span of 6 years , and the dealer is willing to fix everything . I would have to say no , because they could be more problems to fix within 3 or 4 years . I really don't care how nice this rig is , all I know is that I work too hard for my money to waist on something like this piece of c_ _ _
---
Bust for me.
C4BO I’m not impressed by that RV. Keep shopping.
A. Bust for the cost …
D.S. = drivers side, door side, I think its Dumb Sh##. just like PDI, probably didn't inspect. Thanks Don
Love it 😀
Bust-O-Matic
"OPP"......Other People's Problems
"You down with OPP? Yeah, you know me."
C4BO - how much are you paying again??
Right???
Bust…just my opinion. Some of the things minor.
This could be a buy. Depends on price. I'd say around 35% of original MSRP would be fair.
Oh, to me it’s a bust for sure. Love you two.
Major red Flags, All sides and Electrical loose trim. Definitely a No Go . That's Why You Always hire an Inspection Team
You got it Chad 😁
Bust anytime you're talking about structure especially slides!

Bust. Too much to fix. Slide boxes crooked especially troublesome.
That's always a big story teller for me 🤔
No go for me,
Pre Covid RV.
Not good
Pre Covid on top of that 🙄
BUST!!!

A bust
I don't own an RV and you guys are annoying me. I'm sure some problems can always be found an every RV even new. It's like fishing in a barrel. Might be a nice money-making gig tho.
Why don't you find yourself a good channel and go annoy other people with your less than thought out 🙄 you've got to be bored to take time fir such lame comments. 😒
@@blueoxontherun9188 Some stuff you guys point out is important and I understand you must justify your work but scratches, dings and dents are obvious, don't you think? That's the annoying part. Just trying to help. Sorry, I won't view your videos anymore. LizAmazing is a good channel.
Happy trails 😉
