fr i have gone through like 20 weight paint videos now, all of them were just explained in the most complicated ways possible but this one is just the best and most useful tutorial that u will EVER find abt weight painting that explains it in the most simplest ways possible that even ppl who have no experience would understand this.

You can select an armature and model, then if you try to weight paint, bones will show you what bone you are editing, also you can shift+ lmb to quickly select another bone

if you shift select the rig then the mesh you want to weight paint, it will let you just simply left click the bone you want.

Shift + right click... you have no idea how much time you saved me switching between bone mode and weight paint mode to change the selected bone 😂

@@alfinann I used to have to select a bone I wanted to change the weight of in bone mode, then switch to weight paint mode from the dropdown menu to change it, and do this every time I wanted to change which bone to edit.

Too many Vertices! Upgrading your computer can be very expensive so learning how make your model more efficient is the best answer. I'd decimate your model more or learn how to retopologize.
