No rap and no high note ad-libs were in this song, a really big switch from EVERGLOW’s usual songs. I find it kind of refreshing to hear, it’s very rare to find kpop songs that don’t have high note ad-libs, so to hear a title track like this seems very “groundbreaking” for lack of a better word.

I think the main reason they didn't go full horror is because it's not about an actual horror scenario, but more the feeling of being like a zombie after a breakup. So it feels painful, draining, miserable, a morbid view of emotional suffering and emptiness - but not so much about shock and gore of a genuine horror. Still, I would have loved those violins to screech a little, and I would have probably liked the bridge and final chorus to be belted out to emphasise the agony and pain that comes with such a zombie feeling post-breakup. Overall, an excellent song - but perhaps not what I would call an excellent Everglow song. B-Side Colourz is more Everglow for me, although I can understand it not being a title track.
Five years since debut and still no full album?! That's just ridiculous...this talented group deserves so much better & the quality of this song only emphasises that x

I absolutely love the song, it gets better as it proceeds. That bone chilling scream was fantastic. I think they went for a more chill horror style than a shocking one, but I do agree that they could have had something more unhinged for the chorus. But I do see the style they wanted to pick for this comeback! The instrumentals are really amazing. I really hope they comeback more frequently now, I can’t deal with another hiatus after such good music! Hopefully the netizens like this one and finally stop sleeping on EG!
